국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 초등학생의 정서표현 양가성이 인터넷 게임중독에 미치는 영향에서 내현적 자기애의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 방법 제주도에 소재한 초등학생 5, 6학년 355명을 대상으로 선정하였다. 자료분석은 Window spss 21.0을 이용하여 신뢰도 분석 및 기술통계를 실시하였고 매개효과를 분석하기 위해 Baron과 Kenny가 제안한 3단계 분석 절차에 따라 분석하였다. 결과 초등학생의 정서표현 양가성, 인터넷 게임중독, 내현적, 자기애 간에 유의한 정적상관 관계가 나타났으며 정서표현 양가성이 인터넷 게임중독에 미치는 영향에서 내현적 자기애가 완전매개 역할을 하는 것으로 확인되었다. 정서표현 양가성의 하위요인인 긍정적 정서표현이 인터넷 게임중독에 미치는 영향에서 내현적 자기애가 완전매개 효과가 나타났으며 부정적 정서표현이 인터넷 게임중독에 미치는 영향에서도 내현적 자기애가 완전매개로 나타났다. 결론 연구결과를 통해 인터넷 게임중독을 보이는 초등학생을 상담하는 경우, 정서 표현이 이루어질 수 있도록 도움을 제공하고 내현적 자기애 수준을 낮추어 주었을 때 인터넷 게임중독에서 벗어날 수 있음을 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study examines the mediating effect of covert narcissism in the effects of ambivalence in emotional expression in elementary school students on Internet game addiction. Methods 355 elementary school students in 5th and 6th grades located in Jeju Island were selected. For data analysis, reliability analysis and descriptive statistics were performed using Windows spss 21.0, and the three-step analysis procedure suggested by Baron and Kenny was analyzed to analyze the mediating effect. Results A significant positive correlation was found among elementary school students emotional expression ambivalence, Internet game addiction, and covert narcissism. In the effect of emotional expression ambivalence on Internet game addiction, it was confirmed that covert narcissism played a complete mediating role. In the effect of positive emotional expression, a sub-factor of ambivalence, on Internet game addiction, covert narcissism was fully mediated, and in the effect of negative emotional expression on Internet game addiction, covert narcissism was fully mediated. Conclusions The results of this study suggest that when counseling elementary school students who show internet game addiction, they can help them to express their emotions and lower the level of covert narcissism, so that they can get out of internet game addiction.
