사회복지전공 대학생의 전공만족도와 진로준비행동과의 관계에서 진로결정자기효능감의 매개효과

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 사회복지전공 대학생 3학년, 4학년을 중심으로 전공만족도가 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향에 대한 진로결정자기효능감이 매개효과를 가지는지 검증하고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위해 D시와 J시에 재학 중인 학생 300명을 대상으로 2020년 10월 5일부터 11월 11일까지 설문조사를 실시하여 최종 285부를 수거하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS/PC(21.0) 통계분석 프로그램을 사용하여 실행하였으며, 분석된 결과는 다음과 같다. 결과 첫째, 사회복지전공 대학생의 전공만족도는 진로결정자기효능감과 진로준비행동에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 진로결정자기효능감도 진로준비행동에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회복지전공 대학생의 전공만족도와 진로준비행동과의 관계에서 진로결정자기효능감이 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 사회복지전공 대학생의 전공만족도와 진로결정자기효능감이 높을수록 진로준비행동 수준이 높음을 의미한다. 결론 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 사회복지전공 대학생의 전공만족도와 진로결정자기효능감을 향상시키기 위해서는 저학년부터 학과 교수님들의 관심 및 지속적인 상담과 학생들의 의견이 반영되도록 교수님들의 노력이 뒷받침되어야 하며, 나아가 관심 있는 진로에 대한 정보 및 직업훈련프로그램을 체험할 수 있는 환경을 제공한다면 진로준비행동 수준을 향상시킬 수 있음을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to examine if career decision-making self-efficacy has a mediating effect, in relation to the influence of major satisfaction on career preparation behavior focusing on junior- and senior-year university students majoring in social welfare. Methods For this study, questionnaire were distributed to 300 university students in D City and J City from October 5th to November 11st 2020, and a total of 285 questionnaires were finally collected. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS/PC(21.0) statistical analysis program, and the analysis results are as follows. Results First, major satisfaction among university students majoring in social welfare significantly influenced career decision-making self-efficacy and career preparation behavior, and career decision-making self-efficacy significantly influenced career preparation behavior too. Second, career decision-making self-efficacy played a mediating role in the relationship between major satisfaction and career preparation behavior of university students majoring in social welfare. This means that a higher level of major satisfaction and career decision-making self-efficacy in university students majoring in social welfare is related to a higher level of career preparation behavior. Conclusions These study results demonstrate that for improving major satisfaction and career decision-making self-efficacy of university students majoring in social welfare, professors have to put efforts into reflecting views of students, in addition to showing sustained interest and providing sustained counseling to students when they are in lower grades. Moreover, it is required to construct an environment, which provides proper information about careers that students are interested in and a vocational training experience grogram, for improving the level of career preparation behavior.
