국내 군상담 연구 동향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 국내 군상담 연구 동향을 살펴보고 군상담 영역에 대한 시사점을 도출하려는 목적으로 수행되었다. 방법 2010년부터 2020년까지 약 10여 년간 발간된 국내 학술지 논문 중에서 군상담 관련 주제를 다룬 총 208편을 분석하였으며, 본 연구의 목적에 부합하는 체계적인 분석을 위해 17개의 항목으로 코딩 매뉴얼을 만들고, 코딩 내용에 대해서는 기술통계 분석을 하였다. 결과 첫째, 국내 군상담 관련 연구는 2012년 이후 매년 15편 이상으로 꾸준히 발표되고 있다. 2010년에서 2016년까지 논문 수가 증가하다가 이후, 발표 수가 다소 감소하였다. 그리고, 2020년에는 다시 급증하여 최근 10년의 기간 중에 가장 많은 수의 논문이 발표되었다. 둘째, 연구대상은 육군병사 49편(23.56%), 군간부 42편(20.19%), 군인가족 12편(5.77%)의 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 연구방법에서는 조사연구가 121편(58.17%)으로 가장 우세하였고, 분석방법에서는 양적분석방법 159편(76.44%) 중 회귀분석계열이 96편(32%)으로 가장 많이 나타났다. 넷째, 상담심리이론적 근거를 제시하며 연구한 사례는 26편(12.5%)에 불과한 것으로 나타났다. 주요한 이론적 접근으로는 인지주의적 접근 8편(30.77%), 통합적 접근 7편(26.92%)의 순으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 연구주제 및 내용 면에서는 성격특성 및 적응 87편(41.83%), 상담과정 및 성과 48편(23.08%)의 순으로 나타났다. 결론 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 국내 군상담 연구의 시사점과 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to examine the trends of military counseling research in Korea and to derive implications for the area of military counseling. Methods A total of 208 domestic academic papers published for about 10 years from 2010 to 2020 were analyzed on military counseling topics, and 17 coding manuals were created for systematic analysis to meet the purpose of this study, and descriptive statistics were analyzed on coding contents. Results As a result of the study, first, more than 15 domestic military counseling-related studies have been published annually since 2012. The number of papers increased from 2010 to 2016 and then decreased slightly. And in 2020, it surged again, the largest number of papers published in the last decade. Second, the subjects of the study were 49 Army soldiers(23.56%), 42 military officers(20.19%), and 12 military families (5.77%) in that order. Third, 121 survey studies(58.17%) were the most dominant in the study method, and 96 regression analysis(32%) were the most common among 159 quantitative analysis methods(76.44%). Fourth, only 26 (12.5%) of the cases were studied with the theoretical basis of counseling psychology. The main theoretical approaches were cognitive approaches, 8 cases(30.77%), followed by integrative approaches, 7 cases(26.92%). Fifth, 87 personality characteristics and adaptation(41.83%), 48 counseling process and performance(23.08%) were shown in the order of research topics and contents. Conclusions Based on these results, the implications of military counseling research in Korea and suggestions for follow-up research were made.
