코로나19로 인한 교수학습과정의 변화

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 코로나 19로 인해 촉발된 비대면 교육 상황에서 교수학습과정의 변화를 살펴보고 포스트 코로나 시대에 대비하여 온라인 교육의 개선방안을 모색하는 것이다. 방법 이를 위하여 한국교육개발원에서 제공하는 대학 교수⋅학습 과정에 관한 설문조사(NAFET)에 참여한 H대학교의 2019년과 2020년 교원 응답 자료를 비교하기 위하여 빈도분석, 카이제곱 검정, 독립표본 t-검정을 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 시간활용을 비교한 결과, 2019학년도에 비해 2020학년도에 학부수업을 위한 준비시간과 학부수업 시간에 활용 한 시간이 더 많은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교수방법을 비교한 결과, 2019학년도에 비해 2020학년도에 강의, 동영상 강의, 중간기말시험을 더 빈번히 활용한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 평가방법을 비교한 결과, 2019학년도에 비해 2020학년도에 동료 학생들 간의 평가와 수업참여도에 대한 평가가 더 적게 실시된 것으로 나타났으며, 개인별 중간기말보고서와 팀 프로젝트 결과보고서에 대한 평가는 2019학년도와 2020학년도 간 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 교수-학생 간 상호작용 내용을 비교한 결과, 진로 및 취업에 대한 상호작용은 2019학년도에 비해 늘어난 반면, 기타 주제에 대한 상호작용은 2019학년도에 2020학년도에 비해 적게 실시된 것으로 나타났다. 결론 대학에서 교수자가 수행하는 수업 준비, 교수방법, 평가, 상호작용 등 교육 활동을 중심으로 코로나19로 인한 대학 교육에서 교수자의 전반적인 교육 활동의 변화를 살펴보았다. 코로나19로 인한 대학 교육의 변화를 교수자의 교수 역할에 초점을 맞추어 살펴보았다는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to examine the changes in the teaching and learning process in the online education situation by Corona 19, and to find ways to improve online education in preparation for the post-corona era. Methods For this purpose, frequency analysis, chi-square test, and independent sample t-test were conducted to compare the 2019 and 2020 teachers response data from H University, which participated in a survey on university teaching and learning courses (NAFET) provided by the Korea Educational Development Institute. Results First, as a result of comparing the time usage, it was found that the preparation time for undergraduate classes and the amount of time used for undergraduate classes in 2020 were more than those in 2019. Second, as a result of comparing teaching methods, it was found that lectures, video lectures, and midterm exams were used more frequently in 2020 than in 2019. Third, as a result of comparing the evaluation methods, it was found that evaluation among fellow students and evaluation of class participation was less conducted in 2020 than in 2019, and evaluation of individual mid-term report and team project result report, there was no difference between the 2019 and 2020 school years. Fourth, as a result of comparing the contents of the interaction between professors and students, it was found that the interactions on career and employment increased compared to the 2019 school year, while the interactions on other topics were less conducted in 2019 than in 2020. Conclusions This study was meaningful in that it examined the changes in university education caused by Corona 19 with a focus on the role of professors.
