국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 중학교 1학년에서 3학년으로 성장함에 따라 나타나는 학업스트레스 변화가 무동기의 변화에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 종단적 변화를 살펴보고, 부모의 합리적 설명의 종단매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 경기교육종단연구(GELS: Gyeonggi Education Longitudinal Study) 4차(2015년)~6차 자료(2017년)를 대상으로 기술통계, 상관관계분석, 다변량잠재성장모형을 활용하여 분석하였다. 결과 첫째, 학년이 올라감에 따라 학업스트레스와 무동기는 점차 높아지지만, 부모의 합리적 설명은 시간에 따른 감소추세를 보여주었다. 둘째, 무동기 초기값에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인은 부모의 합리적 설명 초기값이고, 무동기 변화율에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 요인은 학업스트레스 변화율이었다. 셋째, 학업스트레스에서 무동기에 이르는 경로에서 부모의 합리적 설명 변화율과 초기값이 매개효과를 보이는 요인으로 확인되었다. 결론 학업스트레스가 올라감에 따라 무동기가 증가하는 종단적 관계에서 이를 중재하기 위한 방법으로 부모의 합리적 설명이 지속적으로 영향을 주는 매개요인임을 확인하여 실천적 적용을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study examines the longitudinal changes of in academic stress and amotivation as they grow from the first year of middle school to the third year of middle school, and tries to verify the longitudinal mediating effect of parents rational parenting behavior. Methods For this purpose, the 4th~6th data of the Gyeonggi Education Longitudinal Study(GELS) were analyzed using a multivariate potential growth model. Results First, although academic stress and amotivation gradually increased as the grades went up, the rational parenting behavior of parents showed a decreasing trend over time. Second, the factor that had the greatest influence on the initial value of amotivation was the initial value of rational parenting behavior of parents, and the factor that had the greatest influence on the rate of change in amotivation was the rate of change in academic stress. Third, the change rate and initial value of parents rational parenting behavior in the path from academic stress to amotivation were identified as mediating factors. Conclusions This study presented implications for practical application by confirming the influence of parents rational parenting behavior as a method to mediate academic stress in a relationship that affects amotivation.
