코로나(COVID-19)로 인한 비대면 수업 활성화에 적응하는 초등학생의 심리적 적응에 대한 현상학적 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 코로나(COVID-19)로 인한 비대면 수업 활성화에 적응하는 초등학생의 심리적 적응을 알아보고자 하였다. 방법 연구자가 근무하는 A시 B초등학교 6학년 학생 10명을 대상으로 하여 2020년 9월에서 10월까지 자료를 수집한 후 구체적인 경험의 의미와 본질을 발견할 수 있는 현상학적 방법을 사용하여 대상자들의 공통 경험을 분석하였다. 결과 분석결과 총 2개의 상위주제와 5개의 하위주제, 18개의 의미단위가 도출되었다. 주제에 따라 살펴보면, 첫째 ‘그리운 학교’ 라는 상위주제에는 ‘온라인 수업에 대한 고충’, ‘줄어든 배움’, ‘채워지지 않는 또래 관계’ 라는 3개의 하위주제와 ‘모른 것이 생겨도 해결되지 않음’, ‘온라인 학습으로 인해 신체 피로도가 증가함’, ‘관계 속에서 배울 수 있는 것이 줄어듦’, ‘학교에서 만들 수 있는 추억이 사라짐’ 등의 11개의 의미단위가 도출되었다. 결론 이 연구는 코로나로 인해 확산되고 있는 비대면 수업에 대한 초등학생들의 적응을 구체적으로 살펴봄으로써 4차 산업혁명 시대에 기술의 발전으로 예상되고 있는 비대면 학교생활의 확대에 적절한 준비 및 개입을 위한 기초자료를 제공했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes of this study were to investigate the psychological adaptation of elementary school students to the activation of non-face-to-face classes due to coronavirus (COVID-19). Methods After collecting data from September to October 2020, this study was analyzed using a phenomenological method that discover the meaning and essence of specific experience through statements of subjects with commons experience to investigate the psychological adaptation. Results As a result of the analysis, a total of 2 high-level topics, 5 sub-themes, and 18 semantic units were derived. Looking at the subject, first, the top topic of ‘Nostalgic school’ includes three sub-themes, ‘Complaints about online classes’, ‘Less learning’, and ‘Peer relationships that can t be filled’, and 11 semantic units such as ‘Even if something I don t know, it won t be resolved’, ‘Increased physical fatigue due to online learning,’ ‘Less learning in relationships’, and ‘Disappearing memories that can be made in school’. Second, the top topic of ‘Anxiety daily’ includes two sub-themes, ‘Difficulty in managing one’s life’, ‘Lack of security’, and 7 semantic units such as ‘Life pattern is broken and difficult to manage by yourself’, ‘The time spent working with computers and smartphones increases’, ‘Depressed and frustrated with things disappeared due to the corona’. Conclusions This study is meaningful in that it provided basic data for appropriate preparation and intervention in the expansion of non-face-to-face school life, which is expected due to the advancement of technology in the era of the 4th industrial revolution by specifically examining elementary school student’s adaptation to non-face-to-face classes that are spreading due to coronavirus.
