언택트 시대 비대면 국어 수업에 대한 중학교 학습자 반응 연구

국문 초록

목적 이 연구의 목적은 2020년 4월부터 시작된 전국 중고등학교의 비대면 수업상황과 관련하여 중1 학생들을 대상으로 이루어진 실제 온라인 국어 수업사례를 탐구하고 학습자의 반응을 분석함으로써 온라인 수업 설계 시 고려해야 할 점과 학습자들이 온라인 수업에서 겪는 어려움이 무엇인지에 대해 고찰하고 이에 대해 교사가 마련할 수 있는 대안을 수업 설계 측면과 운영 측면에서 제시하는 것이다. 방법 이를 위하여 강원도 원주 소재의 중학교 1학년 학생 300명을 대상으로 이루어진 실제 온라인 국어 수업 사례와 이에 대한 학습자 반응을 사례연구방법론(Merriam, 1998) 및 자기수업 연구 방식(이용숙, 2011:8-10)으로 탐구하고 분석하였다. 결과 연구자는 학습자들이 온라인 수업 상황에서 겪는 가장 큰 어려움은 교사 및 또래 학습자와의 관계에 대해 느끼는 부재감이라는 결과를 도출했으며 이를 고려한 온라인 수업 디자인 및 운영방법 2가지를 제안했다. 결론 첫째, 수업을 설계하고 실행할 때 모둠활동이 가능한 실시간 수업 플랫폼 및 공유형 학습도구 등을 적극적으로 활용하여 학습자들이 교사가 자신을 돌보고 있다고 느끼며, 또래 학습자와의 관계 속에서 대화를 통해 배우고 성장할 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 둘째, 교사와 학생이 서로 의견을 나눌 수 있는 플랫폼을 활용하여 학습자의 의견을 수업에 반영하고 과제에 대한 개별 피드백을 제공한다. 또한 신속하게 피드백을 주고받을 수 있게 하여 학습자가 수업에 능동적으로 참여하고 있다고 느끼게 하는 것이다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to explore online Korean language classes of middle and high school students, which began in April 2020, and analyze learners responses to explore what to consider when designing online classes and what difficulties learners face in online classes. And based on this, it is to suggest alternatives that teachers can come up with when designing online classes and running classes. Methods The actual online Korean language class cases conducted on 300 first-year middle school students in Wonju, Gangwon Province, and learners responses to them were explored and analyzed using case study methodology and self-classes study methods. Results The researcher found that the biggest difficulty learners face in online class situations is their absence from their relationships with teachers and peer learners, and suggested two ways to design and operate online classes considering this. Conclusions First, it actively utilizes real-time class platforms and shared learning tools that enable group activities when designing and executing classes. This allows learners to feel that teachers are always taking care of them, and to learn and grow cooperatively in conversations and relationships with peers. Second, by utilizing a platform through which teachers and students can share their opinions, learners opinions are reflected in the class and individual feedback on assignments is provided. Through this, students and teachers can quickly give and receive feedback, and in this process, learners can feel that they are proactively participating in the class.
