예비 유아숲지도사의 양성과정 경험에 대한 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 유아숲지도사 양성과정을 운영하는 기관에서 초기 운영을 해나가며 교육생들을 대상으로 양성과정에 대한 기대와 요구, 경험을 분석하여 이를 통해 문제점을 진단하고 개선 방향을 찾아보는 것에 그 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위해 양성과정에 참여한 교육자 중 연구에 대한 동의를 얻은 후, 산림교육과 유아교육 경험자와 무경험자로 분류해 연구참여자로 선정하여 4차례의 면담과 반구조화 설문으로 연구를 진행하며 이를 통해 그들의 경험을 분석 자료로 사용하였다. 결과 이들과의 면담과 설문을 통해 양성과정 참여 시 갖는 경험을 탐색해 본 결과 첫째, 양성과정에 참여하게 된 동기는 교육생들의 배경에 따라 차이가 있으며 대체로 이들은 산림 관련업에 근무 시 이 자격증이 요구되고 산림교육 관련 전문업체에 취업할 기회가 확대되어 자격취득 및 취업에 대한 기대가 있었다. 둘째, 양성과정을 통해 교육생들은 배움의 열망을 충족하면서 갖는 즐거움으로 삶의 활력을 찾게 되었으며 관련하여 전문 능력을 갖출 수 있다는 기대감을 안게 되었다. 반면에 과정 평가에 대한 걱정과 안정적으로 취업까지 연결될 수 있을지에 대한 우려가 나타나기도 하였다. 그리고 코로나19로 인해 달라진 교육환경에 대한 아쉬움도 덧붙여 제기되었다. 셋째, 양성과정에 바라는 요구로는 소모임의 활성화, 수업방식의 안정적 운영, 실기수업의 확대 및 다양한 실기장소의 선택 등이 있었다. 결론 이를 토대로 첫째, 유아숲지도사 양성과정의 수업 운영방식을 예측 가능토록 안정적인 운영을 해나가도록 해야 하며, 둘째, 평생학습자들의 커뮤니티를 활성화하는 양성기관의 노력이 요구되며, 셋째, 양성과정 교과목 중 실기교과목을 강화하고 실기수업 장소도 다양하게 운영해야 함을 유아숲지도사 양성과정의 개선을 위한 시사점으로 제시하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to diagnose problems and find directions for improvement through the analysis of expectations, demands, and experiences for the training course for trainees while conducting initial operation at the early childhood forest instructor training institution. Methods 5 research participants were selected and conducted through the 4th interview and semi-structured questionnaire, and through this, their experiences were used as analysis data. Results As a result of exploring the experiences of participating in the training course through interviews and questionnaires with them, first, the motivation for participating in the training course differs depending on the background of the trainees. Opportunities to get a job at a company were expanded, and they were expecting to acquire qualifications and get a job. Second, through the training process, trainees have the joy of meeting their aspirations for learning and have the vitality of life and have the expectation that they will be able to acquire professional skills. On the other hand, there were also concerns about process evaluation and whether it could lead to stable employment. In addition, regrets about the changed educational environment due to Corona 19 were also raised. Third, the demands for the training course included revitalization of small groups, stable operation of teaching methods, expansion of practical skills, and selection of various practical skills. Conclusions Based on this, as implications for the improvement of the early childhood forest instructor training course, first, the instructional method of the early childhood forest instructor training course should be operated in a predictable manner, and second, the efforts of the training institutions to activate the community of lifelong learners Third, it is suggested that practical skills subjects should be reinforced among training courses, and practical skills classes should be operated in a variety of ways.
