간호대학생의 대인관계 문제가 의사소통능력에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 대인관계 문제와 의사소통능력을 파악하고, 의사소통능력에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위함이다. 방법 연구대상자는 경기도에 소재한 간호대학에 재학 중인 학생 218명이었다. 자료 분석은 SPSS/WIN 23.0 Program을 이용하여 실수, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, stepwise multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 결과 연구결과, 의사소통능력은 교우관계와 친밀관계에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 의사소통능력은 대인관계 문제 영역의 통제지배, 자기중심성, 냉담, 사회적 억제, 비주장성, 자기희생, 과관여와 유의한 음의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 회귀분석 결과, 최종적으로 간호대학생의 의사소통능력에 영향을 미치는 요인은 대인관계 문제 영역의 통제지배(β=-.41, p<.001)와 자기중심성(β=-.23, p<.001), 그리고 대상자의 친밀관계(β=.12, p=.031)로 나타났다. 회귀모형은 통계적으로 유의하였고(F=36.11, p<.001), 전체 모형의 설명력은 32.7%이었다. 즉, 대인관계에서 통제지배와 자기중심성 영역의 문제가 낮을수록, 친밀관계가 많을수록 의사소통능력이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구의 결과는 간호대학생의 의사소통능력을 증진시키기 위한 대인관계 문제 교육 프로그램 개발의 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 향후 관련 연구의 토대가 될 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study was conducted to identify the effects of interpersonal problems on communication skills in nursing students. Methods The participants were 218 nursing students who provided informed consent with an explanation about attending the study. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires. Data analysis was performed using the t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise regression through the SPSS/WIN 23.0 program. Results Governance control, egocentricity, coolness, suppress, non-prescription, self-sacrifice and overpassionate were negatively associated with the communication skills of nursing students. In the stepwise multiple regression analysis, governance control (β=-.41, p<.001), egocentricity (β=-.23, p<.001) and close relationships (β=.12, p=.031) were significant predictors and accounted for 32.7% of the variance in communication skills of nursing students (F=36.11, p<.001). Conclusions Study findings suggest that interpersonal problems are defined as having an important influence on communication skills of nursing students. To strengthen communication skills of nursing students, there is a need to develop education programs to resolve interpersonal problems.
