내적 성패귀인, 목표설정수준, 과제비용 간 구조적 관계에 대한 학교급의 차이

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 수학과목에 대한 내적 성패귀인, 목표설정수준, 과제비용의 구조적 관계에서 중고생 간 학교급의 차이를 확인하는 것이다. 방법 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 서울⋅경기⋅강원 지역 내 교육수준이 유사한 학교 단위로 편의표집 하였고, 자기보고식 설문지를 사용하여 수집된 1,030명의 자료를 최종분석에 사용하였다. SPSS 22.0을 활용하여 정규성 및 변인 간 관계를 확인하고, M-plus 5.21을 활용하여 학교급에 따른 다집단 분석을 실시하여 구조관계 및 매개효과를 확인하였다. 결과 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 구조모형의 학교급 간 차이는 성공-능력귀인과 기회비용, 성공-노력귀인과 기회 및 자아비용, 실패-노력귀인과 목표설정수준의 경로에서 유의하였다. 둘째, 학교급별 구조관계의 패턴은 유사하지만 일부 경로에서 통계적 유의성 여부가 다르게 나타났다. 셋째, 목표설정수준의 매개효과는 경로와 크기에서 학교급에 따라 차이가 있었다. 결론 학교급에 따라 본 연구모형의 구조적 관계에서 차이가 있으며, 목표설정의 적응적이고 긍정적인 기능이 학업상황에서 발휘될 수 있음을 실증적으로 확인하였다. 이를 통해 과제비용과 관련한 학교급 간 비교연구의 방향과 기초적인 자료를 제공하였다는데 의의가 있다. 또한 노력귀인의 역할에 대한 재고(再考)의 기회를 제공하였다는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to compare the structural relationship among internal success-failure attribution, goal setting level, and perceived task cost by school level in mathematics. Methods Using SPSS 22.0 and M-plus 5.21, it was finally analyzed that 1,030 data measured by middle and high school students. A multi-group analysis was conducted to find out the differences at school level in the structural relationship between the research variables. Results The findings are as follows. First, school level differences were found in the paths from success-ability attribution to opportunity cost, from success-effort attribution to task cost(opportunity⋅ego cost), from failure-effort attribution to goal setting level. Second, the structural relationship of each school was verified as similar patterns except for some paths showing differences in statistical significance. The mediating effect of goal setting level was differed by school level. Conclusions It was found that there is a difference in the structural relationship of this study by school level, and it was empirically confirmed that the adaptive and positive function of goal setting can be exerted in academic situations. It is also meaningful that it provided the direction and basic data for comparative research between school levels related to task cost.
