영유아교사의 교수효능감과 영유아와의 상호작용 관계에서 교사전문성의 매개효과

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 영유아교사의 교수효능감이 교사-영유아 상호작용과의 상관은 어떠하며, 교사전문성를 매개로 그 효과를 살펴보는데 목적을 두고 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 K시의 영유아교사 386명을 대상으로 영유아교사의 교수효능감, 교사-영유아 상호작용, 교사전문성관련 변인을 측정하기위한 검사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 PASW 24.0을 활용하여 분석하였으며, 매개효과 검증은 Baron과 Kenny(1986)의 매개효과 검증절차에 따라 교사전문성의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 결과 연구결과는 첫째, 영유아교사의 교수효능감, 교사-영유아 상호작용, 교사전문성 변인 간에 모두 의미 있는 정적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 영유아교사의 교수효능감과 영유아 상호작용과의 관계에서 교사전문성의 매개효과를 살펴보기 위해 교수효능감과 교사전문성을 순차적으로 투입한 결과, 영유아교사의 교수효능감은 교사-영유아 상호작용에 더하여 교사전문성을 추가한 연구결과는 통계적으로 의미가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 결론 따라서 영유아교육현장에서 교수효능감과 전문성을 증진시켜 교사-영유아 상호작용의 질 향상 뿐 아니라 교수효능감과 교사전문성을 증진시킬 수 있는 교사교육이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the teacher s teaching efficacy and the teacher-child interaction, and the effect of teacher expertise as a medium. Methods To this end, a test was conducted to measure the variables related to the teaching efficacy of early childhood teachers, teacher-child interaction, and teacher expertise, targeting 386 early childhood teachers in K city. the collected data was analyzed using PASW 24.0, and the parameters verification were analyzed the mediating effect of teacher expertise in accordance with the verification procedure of Baron and Kenny(1986). Results In the research results, first, it was found that there were significant positive correlations between early childhood teachers teaching efficacy, teacher-child interaction, and teacher expertise. Second, in order to examine the mediating effect of teacher expertise in the relationship between early childhood teachers teaching efficacy and teacher-child interaction, teaching efficacy and teacher expertise were sequentially introduced. In addition, the research results that added teacher expertise were found to be statistically significant. Conclusions Therefore, this suggests that teacher education is needed to improve teaching efficacy and teacher expertise as well as improving the quality of teacher-child interaction by enhancing teaching efficacy and their expertise in the early childhood education sites.
