어린이집 원장의 리더십과 자아존중감이 원장 전문성에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 어린이집 원장의 리더십과 자아존중감이 원장의 전문성에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 것이다. 방법 수도권 소재 어린이집 원장 230명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0을 활용하여 Pearson의 상관관계분석, 일원배치분산분석, 중다회귀분석을 실시했다. 결과 본 연구의 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어린이집 원장 전문성 수준은 직업윤리, 시설운영관리 기술, 보육프로그램의 운영지식과 기술, 보육종사자와의 관계수립능력, 공적관형성 순으로 높게 나타났으며, 어린이집 원장 전문성은 평가인증 수행경험에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 어린이집 원장의 리더십과 자아존중감은 원장 전문성과 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 원장의 리더십 및 자아존중감은 원장 전문성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 세부적으로 살펴본 결과 원장 전문성에 영향을 미치는 중요한 예측변인으로 원장의 과업역량 리더십과 자아존중감의 긍정적 자아평가 요인이 작용하고 있음을 확인하였다. 결론 본 연구결과는 원장의 과업수행 경험과 과업역량 리더십 및 긍정적 자아평가가 원장 전문성을 향상시키는 요인임을 규명하였다는 점에서 연구의 의의를 지닌다. 이를 토대로 어린이집 원장 전문성 발달을 위한 원장 교육 프로그램의 개발 및 연수 지원을 제안한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes of this study were to verify the effect of the leadership and self-esteem of the director of the Day Care Center on the director s professionalism. Methods A survey was conducted on 230 Day Care Center on the director s in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do.The collected data were analyzed by Pearson s correlation analysis, one-way ANOVA, and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 25.0. Results The main results of this study are as follows: First, The level of professionalism of daycare center director was high in the order of occupation ethics, facility operation management technology, operation knowledge and technology of childcare program, ability to establish relationship with childcare worker, and public pipe formation. And the professionalism of daycare center director showed a statistically significant difference in the experience of evaluation certification. Second, leadership and self-esteem had a significant positive correlation with director s professionalism. Third, daycare center director s leadership and self-esteem had a significant positive effect on director professionalism. As a result of examining the sub-factors in detail, it was found that the important predictors affecting the director professionalism were the positive self-evaluation of the director s leadership s task competency and self-esteem. Conclusions The results of this study are significant in that it suggests that the director s experience in performing tasks, the leadership of task competence and the positive self-evaluation can improve the director professionalism. Based on this, propose the development and training support of the director education program for the development of the professionalism of daycare center director.
