국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 대학에서 나를 위한 글쓰기 수업의 가능성과 의의를 탐색하는 데 목적을 두었다. 방법 이를 위하여 2018년에서 2021년도까지 4년 간 개설된 ‘복합양식 텍스트와 리터러시’의 교과목에서 나를 위한 글쓰기 수업을 운영한 후 수업 내용과 쓰기 결과물, 수업 소감문을 분석하였다. 결과 연구 결과 나를 위한 글쓰기를 수행한 학생들의 긍정적인 변화를 통해 교육적 효과를 확인했으며, 나를 위한 글쓰기가 대학 글쓰기 수업으로 확장될 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였다. 전자로는 자신과 마주하는 과정에서 내면의 상처를 회복하고 자신을 긍정하게 된 점, 자신과 타인에 대해 이해가 깊어지고 응원할 수 있게 된 점, 예전에는 용기가 없어 머뭇거렸던 일들에 대해 자신감을 가지게 된 점을 들 수 있다. 후자로는 글을 쓰기 전에 사유의 시간을 충분히 가진 점, 브런치 앱을 활용하여 언제 어디서든 글쓰기가 가능했던 점, 공개 글과 비공개 글 두 편을 쓴 점, 발표를 통해 서로의 글을 공유한 점, 채팅으로 피드백을 주고받은 점으로 요약된다. 결론 실제 수업 사례를 통해 대학에서 소홀하게 다루어 온 나를 위한 글쓰기의 의의를 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the possibility and significance of the ‘Writing for me’ class in higher education. Methods The ‘Writing for me’ class was operated in the ‘Multimodal Text and Literacy’ course delivered for four years from 2018 to 2021. In this class, students take the lectures, including facing, expressing, and sharing. This paper analyzed those processes and participant s writing tasks. Results As a result of the study, the educational effect was confirmed through positive changes in the students who took the ‘Writing for me’ class. Furthermore, confirmed the possibility of extending ‘Writing for me’ to college writing classes as education content. The educational effect was confirmed especially in recovering inner wounds by facing themselves, understanding and encouraging others, and Attaining self-confidence while doing what used to hesitated once due to lack of courage. In addition to the positive changes, the students evaluated the ‘Writing for me’ class was significant in the following five aspects. (1) Having enough time to think about themselves. (2) The accessibility to writing anytime, anywhere using a smart application. (3) Writing experience in two articles, one for publish and one for not. (4) Presenting their writing and listening to other students writing (5) Giving and receiving feedback through online chatting. Conclusions The significance of ‘Writing for me’, which has been neglected in college writing class, can be confirmed through actual cases.
