장애인 평생교육 연구동향 분석

국문 초록

목적 이 연구는 한국연구재단(KCI) 등재지 및 등재후보지에 게재된 논문들을 대상으로 장애인 평생교육을 주제로 한 연구 동향을 살펴보고, 장애인 평생교육을 다룬 논문의 주제어 연결망 분석(keyword network analysis) 및 커뮤니티 분석을 실시하여 장애인 평생교육 연구의 하위구조를 파악하고자 하였다. 방법 2000년부터 2020년까지 학술지에 발표된 논문 중 ‘장애인 평생교육’을 주제어로 하는 논문 200편을 수집, 347개의 주제어를 도출하였다, 이후 텍스톰 프로그램을 활용해 단어 정제화 작업을 하였으며, Gephi 프로그램을 이용해 주제어 연결망의 구조적 속성 분석, 중심성 분석을 진행한 후 커뮤니티 분석 및 시각화 작업을 수행하였다. 결과 그 결과 첫째, 장애인 평생교육 관련 연구는 2015년도부터 급증하는 경향을 보였다. 둘째, 가장 많이 사용된 주제어는 발달장애인이었으며, 프로그램, 요구, 특수교육, 인식, 대학, 체계 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 중심성 분석에서는 발달장애인, 프로그램, 특수교육 등의 주제어가 대체로 고르게 높은 값을 보였다. 넷째, 커뮤니티 분석으로 분류한 장애인 평생교육 연구동향의 하위 구조 분야는 6개의 분야로 1) 프로그램, 요구, 2) 대학, 체계, 3) 인식, 참여, 4) 발달장애인, 방안, 5) 특수교육, 복지, 6) 직업교육으로 나타났다. 결론 장애인 평생교육의 학문적 정체성과 역할을 탐구할 필요가 있으며, 여러 학문의 연계와 함께, 보다 다양한 분야의 주제를 다루는 연구가 진행되어야 한다. 또한, 향후 장애인 평생교육법과 제도의 개선 방안과 수요자 중심의 프로그램 개발, 그리고 장애인 인식 개선을 위한 후속 연구를 기대할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to analyze research trends on the key words of papers related to lifelong education for people with disabilities from 2000 to 2020. Methods In 200 papers published in the journal which were Korea Citation Index(KCI) registration or listed registration, 347 key words were refined. After conducting a structural property and centrality analysis of the key words network, and conduct community analysis and visualization. Results As a result, first, research on lifelong education for people with disabilities has tended to surge since 2015. Second, the most frequently used subject words were ‘developmental disabilities’, followed by ‘programs’, ‘needs’, ‘special education’, ‘awareness’, ‘universities’, and ‘systems’. Third, in centrality analysis, subject words such as ‘developmental disabilities’, ‘programs’, and ‘special education’ generally showed evenly high values. Fourth, the sub-structure of lifelong education research trends for people with disabilities classified as community analysis was 6 areas: 1) program, demand, 2) university, system, 3) awareness, participation, 4) developmental disabilities, 5) special education, welfare, and 6) vocational education. Conclusions It is necessary to explore the academic identity and role of lifelong education for people with disabilities, and research should be conducted on topics in more diverse fields, along with links between various disciplines. In addition, follow-up research is expected to improve lifelong education laws and systems for people with disabilities, develop demand-oriented programs, and improve awareness of the people with disabilities.
