국문 초록

본 연구는 다문화가족지원센터에서 종사하고 있는 통번역 지원사를 대상으로 직업문식성 신장을 위한 방안을 연구하고자 한다. 통번역 지원사는 결혼이민자의 이중언어의 장점을 살려 다문화가족지원센터에서 초기 입국자나 한국어가 서툰 결혼이민자들을 위해 통번역 업무를 한다. 5급 이상의 토픽 급수를 보유하고 있고 한국어와 모국어 능력 시험에 합격한 후 종사할 수 있는 직종이지만 실제 업무를 수행할 때 겪는 어려움은 적지 않다. 그러한 이유로 다음 단계에 의하여 본 연구를 진행하고자 한다. 1장 서론에서는 본 연구의 목적과 필요성에 대하여 제시해 놓았으며 직업문식성 관련 기존 연구 동향을 살펴보았다. 2장에서는 연구 방법을 제시하였다. 연구 방법은 첫째, 통번역 지원사 12명을 대상으로 질적 연구로 진행하였다. 통번역 지원사에 대한 정보와 업무를 분석하기 위하여 기존 연구 동향을 살펴보고 현재 다문화가족지원센터에서 종사하고 있는 통번역 지원사와 한국인 동료를 대상으로 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 둘째, 통번역 지원사의 처음 업무 수행 시의 직업문식성 수준, 직업문식성 교육의 필요성, 직업문식성 교육 시의 요구 항목에 대한 조사를 위하여 양적 연구를 실시하였다. 설문지 문항 구성은 평가 기준 척도를 정하고 안내문과 문서 서식 관련 업무로 나누어 총 30개의 문항을 구성하였다. 3장에서는 설문조사 결과를 분석하여 제시하였다. 조사 결과 통번역 지원사가 처음 통번역 업무를 시작했을 때 언어 사용 행위에 많은 어려움이 있었으며 이러한 어려움을 해결하기 위해 직업문식성 교육이 필요함을 요구하였다. 4장에서는 3장의 조사 결과에 따라 통번역 지원사의 직업문식성 능력을 신장시키기 위한 학습 전략을 제시해 놓았다. 5장에서는 내용 요약과 더불어 본고의 의의 및 제언에 대해 제시해 놓았다.

영문 초록

This study aims to study ways to enhance vocational literacy for translation volunteers working at the Multicultural Family Support Center. Taking advantage of the dual language of marriage immigrants, the interpreter works for early arrivals or marriage immigrants who are poor at Korean at the Multicultural Family Support Center. Although it has a topic level of 5 or higher and can be employed after passing the Korean and native language proficiency tests, there are many difficulties in performing actual tasks. For that reason, we would like to proceed with this study in the following steps. Chapter 1 The introduction presented the purpose and necessity of this study and looked at existing research trends related to occupational literacy. Chapter 2 presents research methods. The research method was first conducted through qualitative research on 12 applicants for translation. In order to analyze information and work on translation support companies, interviews were conducted with translation support companies and Korean colleagues currently working at the Multicultural Family Support Center. Second, quantitative research was conducted to investigate the level of vocational literacy, the necessity of vocational literacy education, and the requirements of vocational literacy education for the first time of a translation volunteer. The composition of the questionnaire questionnaire constitutes a total of 30 questions by setting an evaluation criteria scale and dividing them into tasks related to the form of guidance and documents. Chapter 3 analyzes and presents the survey results. As a result of the investigation, when the translation applicant first started his/her translation work, there were many difficulties in using language, and he/she demanded vocational literacy education to solve these difficulties. Chapter 4 presents learning strategies to enhance the vocational literacy skills of translation volunteers based on the results of Chapter 3. Chapter 5 provides a summary of the content and a suggestion.
