국문 초록

본 연구는 인성동화를 활용한 조형요소 중심 미술활동이 유아의 창의적 인성과 미술성향에 미치는 효과를 확인하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 S시에 소재한 S유치원에 재원 중인 만 5세 유아 34명이며, 실험집단은 인성동화를 활용한 조형요소 중심 미술활동을 실시하였고, 비교집단은 생활주제와 관련된 미술활동을 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0을 이용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 실험집단은 비교집단에 비해 창의적 인성의 하위요인인 독특성-호기심, 개방성-유머, 민감성-다양한 흥미, 상상력-놀이성, 독립성-몰두에서 프로그램 효과를 검증한 결과 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 실험집단은 비교집단에 비해 미술성향의 하위요인인 미술태도, 미술표현, 미술능력, 미술의 이해와 감상에서 프로그램 효과를 검증한 결과 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 즉, 인성동화를 활용한 조형요소 중심 미술활동은 유아의 창의적 인성과 미술성향 향상에 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 따라서 인성동화를 활용한 조형요소 중심 미술활동이 유아의 창의적 인성, 미술성향 발달에 효과적이므로 유아교육기관에서 다양한 교수-학습 방법으로 적용해 볼 수 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The objective of this study is to examine the effects of art activities focused on formative elements using personality fairy tales on young children’s creative personality, and art disposition. The study was conducted on 34 children aged five from two classes attending S Kindergarten located in S city. Those in the experimental group participated in art activities focused on formative elements using personality fairy tales and those in the comparison group participated in art activities focused on life themes. The data collected were analyzed using SPSS 25.0. First, the experimental group scored higher with a statistically significant difference in uniqueness-curiosity, openness-humor, sensitivity-various interests, imagination-playfulness, and independence-involvement, which are sub-factors of creative personality, compared to the comparison group. Second, the experimental group scored higher with a statistically significant difference in artistic attitude, artistic expression, artistic ability, and understanding and appreciation of art, which are sub-factors of art disposition, compared to the comparison group. In other words, art activities focused on formative elements using personality fairy tales have positive effects on improving young children’s creative personality, and art disposition. In conclusion, art activities focused on formative elements using personality fairy tales are effective in developing young children’s creative personality, and art disposition, which implies that these activities can be applied as teaching-learning methods in early childhood educational institutions.
