국문 초록

본 연구는 우울 및 대인기피 성향 청소년이 개인 미술치료 장면에서 social-atom 기법 활용으로 인해 보여지는 변화양상 중심의 사례로 이를 통해 치료적 요인을 살펴보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 연구 참여자는 만 14세부터 17세의 일반 중·고등학교 재학생으로 정신건강의학과 전문의의 임상진단을 통해 우울 및 대인기피 성향을 나타내는 총 7명의 남·여 청소년이다. 미술치료는 정신건강의학과 심리치료실에서 사전·사후 회기를 제외하고 주 1회, 회기 당 50분 이내로 총 18회기를 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 연구 참여자의 social-atom 작업, 치료일지에 기록된 행동관찰과 발화 그리고 연구자의 인상을 중심으로 질적 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, social-atom 기법 활용은 친근하고 간결한 방식으로 연구 참여자의 자기개방을 용이하게 하였다. 둘째, social-atom 기법 활용은 투사를 통해 연구 참여자의 자기 이해를 높이는 도구로 활용되었다. 셋째, social-atom 기법 활용은 연구 참여자의 주도적인 상상하기와 연출과 같은 촉진을 통해 부적응 상태에서 적응과 성장으로의 변화를 이끄는 데 도움이 되었다. 이와 같은 연구결과로 치료적 유용성은 확인되었지만, 사례연구이므로 추후, 결과 확증을 위한 보다 구체적인 활용 방안의 연구와 객관적 검증이 이루어질 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the therapeutic factors as a case of adolescents with a tendency to avoid depression and interpersonal avoidance through the use of social-atom techniques in individual art therapy scenes. Participants of the study were general middle and high school students aged 14 to 17 years old, and a total of 7 male and female adolescents who showed depression and avoidance tendencies through clinical diagnosis by a mental health specialist. Art therapy was conducted in a total of 18 sessions, once a week, within 50 minutes per session, excluding pre- and post-session sessions in the psychological treatment room of the Department of Mental Health. The data analysis was qualitatively analyzed focusing on the social-atom work of the study participants, the behavior observation and speech recorded in the treatment log, and the researcher s impression. First, the use of social-atom technique facilitated self-opening of study participants in a friendly and concise way. Second, the use of the social-atom technique was used as a tool to enhance the self-understanding of research participants through projection. Third, the use of the social-atom technique helped lead the change from maladjustment to adaptation and growth through the promotion of the research participants leading imagination and directing. Although the therapeutic usefulness was confirmed by the results of this study, since it is a case study, further research and objective verification of a more specific application method for confirming the result is needed.
