북한이탈청소년 대안교육 및 대안학교에 관한 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 북한이탈청소년 대안교육 및 대안학교 관련 연구 동향을 분석하고, 연구 결과를 바탕으로 향후 연구 과제 및 방향을 모색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2020년 6월까지 한국연구재단 등재(후보)지에 게재된 북한이탈청소년 대안교육 및 대안학교 관련 논문 55편을 선정하여 통합적 문헌고찰 방법으로 분석하였으며, 연구가 발표된 연도, 연구분야, 학술지, 연구방법 및 연구대상자, 연구주제를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 2005년을 시작으로 연간 1~8편씩 수행되고 있는 북한이탈청소년 대안교육 및 대안학교 관련 연구는 사회과학 내 교육학, 사회학 분야의 연구가 다수를 차지하고 있으나, 최근 인문학, 예술체육학, 의약학 등 다양한 분야로 관심이 확대되고 있다. 연구방법은 양적연구, 질적연구를 중심으로 문헌연구와 혼합연구가 소수 활용되었으며, 구체적으로 양적연구에는 실험연구와 설문조사가, 질적연구에는 심층면담이 주로 사용되었다. 연구대상자는 대안학교 학생 단독으로 구성된 경우가 많았으나, 학부모, 일반학교 학생, 대안학교 교사 및 관리자 등을 대상으로 하는 연구들도 수행되었다. 연구주제는 ‘학교’와 ‘학습’ 영역이 전체 연구의 60%를 차지하였으며, 교사, 교육치료, 진로 영역이 그 뒤를 이었다. 마지막으로 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 향후 북한이탈청소년 대안교육 및 대안학교 연구 과제 및 방향을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the research trends related to alternative education and alternative schools for North Korean adolescent defectors, and to suggest future research tasks and directions based on the research results. For this, 55 papers published on the academic journals registered by National Research Foundation of Korea by June 2020 were selected and analyzed by the integrative literature review methodology. The analysis was based on the year of publication, research field and academic journal field, research methods, research participants, and research topics. Since 2005, 1 to 8 studies have been conducted every year, and the majority of research is in the fields of pedagogy and sociology in social sciences, but recently, academic interest has been expanding in various fields such as humanities, arts and physical education, and medicine. As for research methods, quantitative and qualitative research methods were mainly used, and literature and mixed research methods were used in a small number. Specifically, experimental studies and surveys were mainly used for quantitative research, and in-depth interviews were mainly used for qualitative research. While research participants were often composed of students from alternative schools alone, researches involving parents, students from general schools, teachers and managers of alternative schools were also conducted. As for the research topic, ‘school’ and ‘learning’ areas accounted for 60% of the total research, followed by teachers, educational therapy, and career areas. Finally, based on these research results, future research tasks and directions were suggested.
