COVID-19 상황을 맞은 대학생의 온라인 수업에 대한 만족도와 효과성

국문 초록

본 연구는 집합적으로 이루어지던 대학교육에 코로나-19로 큰 변화가 일어나면서 그에 대처하기 위해 갑작스럽게 도입된 온라인 수업을 겪은 대학생들의 온라인 수업에 대한 만족도와 효과성을 분석하고 그에 따른 개선방안을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 위해 전국 유아교육과에 재학 중이고 2020학년도 1학기 온라인 수업에 참여한 대학생 214명을 대상으로 2020년 8월 3일부터 2주간 실시 한 설문결과에 기초하여 기술적 통계분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 대학생들의 수업의 질에 대한 만족도는 3.28점, 학습성과에 대한 효과는 3.49점으로 중상수준으로 나타났다. 학교 유형별로는 전문대학이 일반대학보다 높게 나타나고 학년별로 비슷한 수준이었으나 4학년이 상대적으로 낮은 분포를 보였다. 대학생들이 요구하는 개선방안으로 온라인 강의에서 가장 필요한 지원영역으로 멀티미디어 활용방법 및 제작 지원, 교육자료 제작비 등 예산 지원, 온라인 교수설계와 평가방법에 대한 교육 지원을 선호하는 것으로 나타났고, 온라인 수업에 대한 만족도는 비교적 높게 나타났으나 다른 학생에게 추천할 의향에 대한 문항과 온라인 강의를 선택 수강하는 질문에 대해서는 비교적 낮게 나타났다. 강의도중 버퍼링이나 끊김현상, 음질과 같은 온라인 시스템의 개선과 실습과목에 대한 일부 대면수업을 원하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 앞으로 포스트 코로나시대와 4차 산업혁명의 산물로 교육계는 온라인 원격교육이 주를 이룰 것으로 예상되는 현 시점에서 미래형 교육에 대한 모형의 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the satisfaction and effectiveness of online classes of college students who have experienced sudden online classes in college education that have been collectively made by Corona-19 and to find ways to improve them. For this study, a technical statistical analysis was conducted based on the results of a survey of 214 college students who were attending early childhood education in Korea and experienced in online classes. The result of the study showed that the satisfaction level of the quality of the class of college students was 3.28 points and the effect on the learning performance was 3.49 points. By school type, colleges were higher than general universities, and similar levels were found by grade, but the fourth grade was relatively low. As a result of improvements required by college students, it was found that they preferred the support of multimedia utilization method and production support, educational materials production cost, and education support for online teaching design and evaluation method as the most necessary support areas in online lectures. Satisfaction with online classes was relatively high, but the questions about intention to recommend to other students and the questions about taking online lectures were relatively low., It was found that some face-to-face classes on improvements in online systems such as buffering, interruption, and sound quality during lectures and practical courses were desired., This is the product of the post-corona era and the fourth industrial revolution in the future, and the educational system is expected to provide basic data for future education at the present time when online remote education is expected to be the main product.
