중독상담역량에 대한 중독정신간호사의 교육요구

국문 초록

본 연구는 중독정신간호사의 중독상담역량에 대한 교육요구를 파악하여 보수교육 프로그램 개선을 위한 기초자료로 활용하고자 수행되었다. 연구대상은 중독정신간호 교육과정에 참여했던 간호사 중 설문에 응답한 182명이다. 자료수집은 2020년 5월 20일부터 6월 10일까지 중독상담역량의 중요수준과 현재 수행수준 등을 온라인 설문조사를 이용하여 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 Borich 교육요구 모델 및 Locus for Focus 모델을 활용하여 중독상담역량의 우선순위를 도출하였으며, 근무기관과 중독문제 인식수준에 따른 차이는 One-way ANOVA, Independent t-test로 분석하였다. 연구결과 중독정신간호사의 중독상담역량 교육요구는 치료계획 항목 중 지속적 치료과정, 치료계획 실행과 치료계획 수립이 가장 높았다. 병원에서 근무하는 경우 대상자나 가족 교육 등 교육 역량에 대한 교육요구가 가장 높았으며(F=4.943, p= .003), 대학 등 교육기관의 간호사는 치료적 의뢰나 사례관리 등의 서비스 조정 역량에 관한 교육요구가 가장 높았다(F=3.283, p= .022). 한편, 알코올중독 및 인터넷중독으로 인한 문제를 매우 심각하게 인식하는 경우 중독상담역량에 대한 교육요구가 더욱 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 중독정신간호사의 근무기관별 특성과 중독문제 인식수준을 반영한 중독상담역량 증진을 위한 보수교육 프로그램 개선이 요구된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify educational needs of the addiction nurses and to provide basis for developing education programs for addiction counseling competencies. The subjects were 182 addiction nurses. Data were collected through on-line self-administered questionnaires on the importance and the current level of addiction counseling competencies from the 20th of May to the 10th of June, 2020. The Borich’s needs assessment model, the Locus for Focus model, One-way ANOVA, and independent t-test were used to determine the priority of educational needs. The results as follows: the planning the continuous treatment process was the most needed educational requirement. Hospital nurses had the highest educational needs on education for patient’s families (F=4.943, p= .003). Addiction nurses employed in educational institutions had the highest educational needs on service coordination such as treatment referral (F=3.283, p= .022). The educational needs on addiction counseling competencies was high when the addiction nurses had high awareness on the alcoholism and internet addiction problems. These findings provide improvement for education programs about addiction counseling competencies in accordance to the characteristics of the workplace and to the level of awareness on addiction problems.
