간호대학생의 간호이미지, 전공만족도, 간호전문직관이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

대학시기 적극적인 진로준비행동은 직업만족도를 높이고 이직률을 감소시키나 간호대학생은 타 전공에 비해 진로준비행동이 부족하다. 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 진로준비행동에 미치는 요인으로 간호이미지, 전공만족도, 간호전문직관에 대해 알아봄으로써 간호대학생의 진로준비행동을 향상시키기 위한 전략을 마련하는데 있다. 본 연구는 2020년 4월 16일부터 5월 13일까지 진행되었다. 연구대상자는 경기도, 충청도와 강원도 소재 간호학과에 재학 중인 1∼4학년 220명을 대상으로 온라인 설문지를 배포하고 e-mail로 회수하여 분석하였다. 수집된 자료는 서술적 기술통계, t-test, one- way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, 및 multiple linear regression analysis을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 대상자의 간호이미지 정도는 3.90점, 전공만족도 4.07점, 간호전문직관 3.68점으로 나타났으며, 진로준비행동 정도는 3.59점으로 나타났다. 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향요인은 전공만족도, 간호전문직관, 지원동기이었으며, 이중 전공만족도가 가장 크게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 간호교육기관에서는 간호대학생의 전공만족도를 높이기 위한 지속적인 학습코칭이나 상담 프로그램 개발이 필요하다. 또한 체계적인 교육과정 운영을 통해 간호대학생의 간호전문직관 정립을 위한 노력이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Career preparation behavior is a challenge among nursing students. Active career preparation during college has shown to increase job satisfaction and reduce job turnover. This study aimed to develop strategies to improve career preparation behaviors of nursing students by examining how it is affected by nursing image, major satisfaction, and professionalism. This study was conducted from April 16 to May 13, 2020. Participants were 220 students in the nursing department from freshmen to senior year, living in Gyeonggi-do, Chungcheong-do, and Gangwon-do. The online survey questionnaires were sent and received through email. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS/WIN 23.0 program. The mean scores of the participants were 3.90 points for nursing image; 4.07 points, major satisfaction; 3.68 points, nursing professionalism, and 3.59 points, career preparation behavior. Results of the multiple linear regression analysis revealed that major satisfaction had the greatest impact on career preparation behavior, followed by nursing professionalism and reasons for application. Therefore, nursing education institutions need to develop continuous learning coaching or counseling program to increase satisfaction of their nursing students. Additionally, it is necessary to make efforts to establish nursing professional intuitions for nursing students through systematic curriculum operation.
