비대면 시대 대학 온라인 강의 개발 사례 연구

국문 초록

코로나19의 종식이 지연되면서 온라인 수업이 확장될 것이라는 예측이 지지를 얻고 있다. 세계 유명 대학은 ‘어디서나 닿을 수 있는 대학’을 이미 오래전부터 준비하고 있으며 대학 학습자가 미래 사회에 적응할 수 있는 신지식인으로 성장하는 데 지원을 아끼지 않고 있다. 이러한 대학의 움직임은 기술 변화가 사회 전반의 패러다임을 급격하게 전환할 4차 산업혁명 시대를 예비한 것이기도 하다. 따라서 우리는 생각보다 빨리 도래할 비대면 교육 시대를 대비하기 위해 온라인 수업에 관한 새로운 교육 시스템과 커리큘럼을 개발해야 한다. 온라인 강의를 개발할 때는 짧은 영상에 익숙하고 스마트폰과 태블릿PC에 익숙한 I-Generation의 특성을 고려한 교육 콘텐츠를 제작해야 하며 부족한 학습 실재감과 교수자의 존재성을 보완해야 한다. 또한 온라인 강의를 듣는 학습자의 특성과 환경을 고려하여 교육 콘텐츠를 제작해야 한다. 본고는 이러한 분석 내용과 문제의식을 기반으로 대학 필수 교양 강좌 중 하나인 글쓰기 교과의 온라인 강의 개발에 관해 연구하고자 한다. 온라인으로 실제 강의를 진행한 경험과 비대면 온라인 교육에서의 플랫폼에 관한 이해를 토대로 커리큘럼을 설계하였으며, 일반 대학에서 보편적으로 운영하는 온라인 학습 서비스(e-learning)를 이용하는 교양 강의를 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 더불어 최근 4차 산업혁명 시대의 교육이 추구해야 할 가치로 논의되는 6C 역량을 함께 강화하는 글쓰기 교과 온라인 강의를 개발하고자 했다.

영문 초록

As the cessation of COVID-19 is delaying, there is growing support for the expansion of online courses. Famous universities in the world have for a long time now been making preparations to become “universities that can be accessed anywhere” and are dedicated to provide support so that learners in universities can grow into new intellectuals that can adapt to future society. The universities are making these moves to prepare for the Fourth Industrial Revolution where technological changes will bring a drastic conversion in the overall paradigm of society. Accordingly, a new education system and curriculum have to be developed for online courses in order to be ready for an untact age of education that will arrive sooner than we think. The development of online lectures involve producing educational content in consideration of the characteristics of the I-Generation that is used to short videos, smartphones, and tablet PCs, and the insufficient learning presence and presence of a teacher must be supplemented. In addition, educational content must be produced in consideration of the characteristics and environments of the learners taking the online lecture. This study aimed to examine the online lecture development of a writing curriculum, which is one of the required liberal arts courses, based on the findings of the analysis and problem awareness. The curriculum was designed based on the experiences of online lectures and understanding the platform in untact online education, and the study focused on general e-learning liberal arts lectures in universities. Furthermore, the study intended to develop writing curriculum online lectures that also reinforce the 6C competences, recently discussed as a value that education should pursue for the education of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
