비대면 환경에서 ‘맞춤형 학습’ 수업 운영 사례

국문 초록

본 논문은 비대면(untact) 교육 환경에서 적용할 수 있는 ‘맞춤형 학습’ 을 위한 교수·학습 모형을 설계하고 이를 수업에 적용한 사례를 제시함으로써 비대면 교육 환경에서 학습자 중심 교수·학습을 위한 다양성을 모색하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 비대면 교육 환경에 적용하기 위한 ‘맞춤형 학습’ 모델을 구축하였으며, 이를 2020년 1학기에 충청남도 K대학교에 있는 ‘창의성 개발 과정’ 수업에 적용한 교수 학습 사례를 제시하였다. ‘맞춤형 학습’에서는 교수자가 이러닝을 제공 할 때 모든 학습자에게 동일한 학습 자료와 방법을 제공하지 않는 대신에 개별 학습자의 능력이나 학습 스타일을 고려하여 학습자에게 맞는 맞춤 교육을 진행하였다. 이러한 ‘맞춤형 학습’을 통해 교수자는 온라인에서 학습자들과 상호작용과 피드백을 제공함으로써 학습자들의 학습 성과와 참여도를 높일 수 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 ‘맞춤형 학습’ 모형을 충청남도에 있는 K대학교에서 개설된 ‘창의력 개발 과정’ 비대면 수업에 적용한 결과 학습자들의 긍정적인 의견들을 얻을 수 있었다. 본 연구는 비대면 교육 환경에 적용하기 위한 교수·학습 모형을 개발하고 이를 실제 교육에 적용한 사례 연구로서 비대면 교육에 관하여 관심이 주목되고 있는 최근의 교육 현장의 시의성 있는 논의를 다룬 현장 연구라는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to design a teaching and learning model of “adapted learning” for an untact educational environment. The study presented a case of teaching and learning in the Creativity Development course in the first semester of 2020 at the K University in Chungcheongnam-do. Adapted learning does not provide the same learning materials and methods to all learners when instructors provide e-learning. Instead, it is individualized education tailored to learners considering the individual learners’ abilities or learning styles. Through adapted learning, instructors can increase learners’ learning outcomes and participation by providing online interactions and feedback to learners. As a result, we had several positive opinions from students who attended the Creativity Development course. Adapted learning can be utilized as a good learning and teaching model and tool in the untacted e-learning system. This study was meaningful in that it was a field study applied to the e-learning educational environment by reflecting the demands of the educational field regarding a teaching and learning model that can be applied to an untacted educational environment.
