플립 러닝과 ‘강의실 안 교육’ 설계

국문 초록

본고는 글쓰기 교육에 관한 보다 효율적인 플립 러닝을 위해, 구체적인 ‘강의실 안 교육’을 설계했다. 글쓰기 교육 내용을 ‘글쓰기 이론’, ‘주제를 정하는 과정’, ‘개요쓰기 및 집필 과정’으로 구분하고 이에 대한 ‘강의실 안 교육’을 다음과 같이 설계했다. 첫째, ‘글쓰기 이론’과 관련된 ‘강의실 안 교육’이다. ‘강의실 안 교육’은 토의 토론에 기초한 조별 활동을 통해 진행되는 것이 효율적이다. 특히, 문제중심학습(PBL)에서 요구하는 수준의 문제를 중심에 둔 토의토론 교수법을 실시할 것을 제안했다. 둘째, ‘주제를 정하는 과정’과 관련된 ‘강의실 안 교육’이다. 이 과정은 토의토론과 학습자의 상호피드백 활동에 기초하여 설계되었다. 학습자는 토의토론을 통해 주제 영역을 정하고 주제 영역과 관련된 기존 논의 및 현재 상황을 검토하고, 이후 다른 학습자와 자신이 정한 주제문에 대해 상호피드백한다. 셋째, ‘개요쓰기 및 집필 과정’과 관련된 ‘강의실 안 교육’이다. 이 과정은 교수자와 학습자의 상호작용에 기초하여 설계되었다. 이 과정을 통해 학습자는 교수자와의 소통을 통해, 자신의 글쓰기 과정에 나타나는 문제점을 수정하면서 글을 쓸 수 있게 된다. 플립 러닝은 단순히 지식을 전달하는 차원을 넘어 학습자의 역량을 향상시키는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이러한 플립 러닝의 목적은 ‘강의실 안 교육’의 설계에 의해 좌우될 수 있다. 본고는 글쓰기 교육을 위한 플립 러닝의 ‘강의실 안 교육’을 교육 내용에 따라 다르게 구성할 것을 제안했다는 의의를 지닌다.

영문 초록

This study designed a specific “in-class education” for more efficient flipped learning about writing education. The content of writing education was divided into “writing theory,” “the process of determining the subject” and “outline writing and writing process.” In addition, in-class education was designed as follows. First was in-class education related to writing theory. It is effective in that it is conducted through group activities based on discussion. In particular, it was proposed to conduct a discussion teaching method centering on the level of problems required by Problem-Based Learning. Second was in-class education related to the process of determining the subject. This course was designed based on discussion and learner’s inter-feedback activities. The learner decides the subject area through discussion and reviews the existing discussion and current situation related to the subject area. Then, the learner gives feedback on the subject sentence set by the other learners. Third was in-class education related to outline writing and writing process. This course was designed based on the interaction between the instructors and the learners. Through this process, the learner can write while correcting the problems. Flipped learning aims to improve learners’ capabilities beyond simply transferring knowledge. The purpose of flipped learning can be influenced by the design of in-class education. This paper is meaningful in that it proposes organizing in-class education of flipped learning for writing education differently according to the educational content.
