한국 중‧고령자의 퇴직 후 삶과 일 인식 유형에 따른 희망 일자리 특성 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 중‧고령자를 대상으로 퇴직 이후 이들의 삶과 일에 대한 인식 차이를 분석하여 유형화한 후 유형별 희망하는 일자리의 특성을 탐색하기 위한 목적으로 진행되었다. 이를 위해 55~74세 중‧고령자 805명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 군집분석을 활용하였다. 그 결과 퇴직 후 중‧고령자의 삶과 일 인식에 기반한 유형은 좌절형, 방어형, 활동형, 휴식형, 혼란형인 5가지의 유형으로 구분되었다. 좌절형은 경제적인 여유가 많지 않아 퇴직 이후에도 생계 때문에 일하길 원했으며, 방어형은 사회에 보탬이 되고자 일하길 원했으며, 비임금근로에 대한 희망 비율이 높았다. 활동형은 경제적 여유가 있어 생계보다는 자아실현 또는 능력발휘를 위해 일하길 원하며 자아실현을 위한 새로운 인생형의 특징을 보였다. 휴식형은 퇴직 후 쉬고자 하는 경향이 강해 이전의 일자리보다는 새로운 일에 창업으로 도전해보고자 하는 특징을 보였다. 혼란형은 퇴직 후 일하길 원하나 본인 건강 또는 가족을 돌보아야 하기 때문에 일하는데 어려움이 있어 임시, 일용직에 대한 선호도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구 결과에서 알 수 있듯이 개인이 처한 경제적, 가정적 여건과 삶을 대하는 태도 및 가치에 따라 방향성이 다르기 때문에 중‧고령자를 하나의 집단으로 보기에는 한계가 있으므로 보다 세밀한 관점과 지원이 필요할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to classify life and work of Middle and Old Aged after retirement in order to analyze their perception of life - work closely. For this purpose, 805 Middle and Old Aged 55 to 74 years were surveyed and cluster analysis was used. As a result, after retirement, life and work recognition types were classified into five types: frustrated, defensive, active, resting, confused. The frustrated type did not have enough financial resources and wanted to work after the retirement because of the livelihood, the defensive type wanted to work for the benefit of society, and the percentage of hope for non-wage work was high. The active type is economical, so it wants to work for self - realization or abilities rather than livelihood and showed a new life style characteristic for self realization. The resting type tends to want to rest after the retirement, so it showed a tendency to challenge the new business rather than the previous job. The confused type wanted to work after retirement, but he had difficulty working because he had to take care of his or her health or family and showed preference for temporary and daily workers. As can be seen from the results of this study, it is difficult to view Middle and Old Aged as one group because of their different directions depending on the economic and family circumstances and the values ​​and attitudes toward life.
