국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 사회복지전담공무원이 인지한 클라이언트 폭력이 소진에 미치는 영향과 직무스트레스의 매개효과를 검증하는데 있다. 본 연구의 대상자는 267명의 전라남도 사회복지전담공무원이다. 특히 클라이언트 폭력과 소진 간 관계에서 직무스트레스의 매개효과를 분석하기 위해 구조방정식 모델을 이용하였다. 그리고 매개효과의 유의성은 Bootstrapping 방식을 활용하였다. 검증결과 클라이언트 폭력 → 소진, 클라이언트 폭력 → 직무스트레스, 직무스트레스 → 소진 경로의 유의성이 확인되었다. 그리고 소진의 SMC 값이 .700으로 나타나, 클라이언트 폭력과 직무스트레스가 소진을 70.0% 설명하는 것으로 보고되었다. 그리고 Bootstrapping을 통해 직무스트레스 매개효과의 유의성을 추정한 결과 95% 신뢰구간에서 경로계수의 하한 값과 상한 값이 0을 포함되지 않는 것으로 나타나, 직무스트레스의 유의성이 발견되었다. 아울러 부분매개모델(제안모델)과 완전매개모델(경쟁모델)의 X2 차이 값이 X2=5.047, df=1로 나타났다. 즉 영가설이 기각되고 실험가설이 채택되어 부분매개모델이 선택되었다. 결과적으로 사회복지전담공무원이 인지하는 클라이언트 폭력과 소진 간 관계에서 직무스트레스 부분매개효과가 존재하는 것으로 검증되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 기반으로 사회복지전담공무원의 소진을 관리할 수 있는 실천적, 정책적 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of client violence perceived by the public welfare workers on burnout and the mediating effect of job stress. The subjects of this study are 267 Jeollanam-do public social worker. In particular, the structural equation model was used to analyze the mediating effects of job stress in the relationship between client violence and exhaustion. In addition, the significance of the mediation effect was utilized by the bootstrapping method. As a result, the significance of client violence → exhaustion, client violence → job stress, job stress → exhaustion path was confirmed. SMC value of exhaustion is .700, and client violence and job stress account for 70.0% of exhaustion. In the 95% confidence interval, the lower limit value and the upper limit value of the path coefficient were not included in 0, indicating that job stress was significant in estimating the significance of the job stress mediation effect through bootstrapping. In addition, the X2 difference value between the partial model (proposed model) and the fully mediated model (competitive model) was X2 = 5.047, df = 1. In other words, the hypothesis was rejected and the experimental hypothesis was adopted and the partial mediating model was selected. As a result, it was proved that there is a partial mediating effect of job stress on the relationship between client violence and burnout perceived by the public service Workers. Based on the results of this study, practical and policy suggestions to manage the exhaustion of public social worker
