한·중 초등학교의 교과 외 활동 교육과정 비교 : 한국의 창의적 체험활동 과 중국의 종합적 실천활동‘을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 한국과 중국의 ‘교과 외 활동’ 교육과정의 비교를 통하여 교육과정 개발에 있어서 시사점을 추출하는 것이다. 이를 위해 한국의 경우는 ‘2015 개정 교육과정’의 ‘창의적 체험활동’을, 중국의 경우는 ‘2017 중소학종합실천활동과정지도강요’의 ‘종합실천활동’을 기초로 비교 분석하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 양국의 교과 외 활동은 공통점과 차이점을 내포하고 있다. 공통점은 첫째, 학생들의 삶에 기반한 실천적인 교육과정이라는 성격적 측면이 유사하다. 둘째, 교육과정 운영에 있어서 지역과 단위 학교의 재량의 폭이 넓다는 점이다. 차이점은 첫째, 내용상 강조점이 다르다. 한국은 안전교육을 강조하는 데 반해 중국은 제작교육을 강조한다. 둘째, 학생의 집단 활동에 대한 사상적 바탕이 다르다. 집단 활동을 통해 한국은 민주 시민으로서 자치 능력의 육성을 강조하는 데 반해 중국은 공산주의 체제 유지를 위한 감정적 바탕 형성을 강조한다. 마지막으로 분석 결과를 기초로 양국 교과 외 교육과정 개발의 시사점에 관하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to extract implications for curriculum development by comparing curriculum of extra curricular activities between Korea and China. To do this, I compared and analyzed the creative experience and activities of 2015 revised curriculum in Korea and comprehensive practice and activities of 2017 comprehensive curriculum implementation instruction for small and medium schools in China. The results of the study are as follows. ‘Extra curricular activities’ of both countries have similarities and differences. First, they are similar in nature to the practical curriculum based on students lives. Second, there is a wide range of discretion in the management of curriculum. First, the emphasis is different on the content. While Korea emphasizes safety education, China emphasizes production education. Second, the ideological basis for student group activities is different. Through group activities, Korea emphasizes the development of autonomous citizenship as a democratic citizen, while China emphasizes the formation of emotional grounds for maintaining a communist system. Finally, based on the results of the analysis, the implications of curriculum development outside the curriculum of both countries were discussed.
