영아반 교사가 인식한 물감활동에 대한 의미 분석

국문 초록

어린이집에서 영아들의 물감활동은 여러 종류의 물감을 자연스럽게 탐색할 수 있는 허용적인 분위기에서 이루어져야 한다. 본 연구에서는 영아반 교사가 인식한 물감활동에 대한 의미가 어떠한지 파악함으로써 물감활동구성에 효율적으로 대처하기 위한 방안과 시사점을 알아보고자 한다. 이를 위하여 강원도 K시에 소재한 교사 8명을 연구 참여자로 선정하여 심층면담을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영아반 교사가 인식한 물감활동은 놀이로서의 물감, 소통으로서의 물감, 상상도구로서의 물감, 정서적 안정감을 주는 물감을 의미한다. 둘째, 영아의 물감활동에 대한 시사점으로는 다양한 체험으로서의 물감활동, 영아 개개인에 대한 세심한 관심으로서의 물감활동, 공간을 자유롭게 활용할 수 있는 물감활동의 구성이 모색 되어야 함을 제안 하였다. 이러한 결과는 영아가 자신의 내적 심상을 예술적으로 표현할 수 있고 창의성을 체험 할 수 있는 물감활동의 활성화를 위한 기초자료를 제공하리라 기대한다.

영문 초록

In the day care center, the infants painting activities should be done in a permissible atmosphere that can naturally explore various kinds of paints. The purpose of this study was to find out the ways and implications to cope with the organization of painting activity efficiently by identifying the meaning of the painting activity recognized by the teachers of the infant class. For achieving this purpose, 8 teachers who worked in K city of Gangwon-do were selected as research participants and individual interviews were conducted. The results of this study were as follows. First, as for the meaning of painting activity recognized by the teachers of the infant class, they said that it had the meaning of play, communication, an imaginary tool, and giving emotional stability. Second, as for the implications for the organization of painting activity, it was necessary to seek painting activities as various experiences, a careful interest in individual infants, and using space. These results are expected to provide basic materials for the promotion of painting activities that infants can freely express their inner images and experience pleasure.
