일부 대학생들의 구강보건교육 수강여부에 따른 구취

국문 초록

본 연구는 구강보건교육 관련 수강여부에 따른 구취를 조사하여 구강보건교육에 대한 기초자료 제공과 발전 방안을 모색하고자 설문조사와 구강 검사, 구취 측정을 실시하였다. 편의표본추출방법으로 표본을 추출하였으며, 미 회수된 설문지 16부를 제외한 총 62명의 설문지를 최종 분석한 결과 구취관련요인과 구강보건교육 관련 수강여부의 상관관계는 PHP INDEX(r=-0.238, p=0.049), 황화수소(r=-0.309, p=0.015), 황화디메틸(r=-0.263, p=0.039)이 역상관성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 구강보건교육 관련 수강군에서 구취요인 중 PHP INDEX가 낮아짐으로써, 구강환경관리가 더 잘되는 것으로 나타났고, 구취성분인 황화수소와 황화디메틸 성분이 낮게 나타나 구강보건교육이 구강관리에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 그러므로 올바른 구강관리지식과 능력 향상을 위한 구강보건교육 프로그램이 마련되어져야 할 것이며, 일반계열 대학생들의 구취발생원인과 구강환경관의 관련성에 대한 폭 넓은 연구가 이루어져야 할 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to provide basic data and to improve oral health education by investigating the bad breath according to experience the subjects related to oral health education. A total of 62 questionnaires, excluding the 16 unredeemed questionnaires, were analyzed and the following results were obtained. PHP INDEX was found to be related to bad breath related factors related to oral health education. Correlation between bad breath related factors and oral hygiene education index was found in PHP INDEX, hydrogen sulfide and dimethyl sulfide. The oral health education experienced group was the lower the index of PHP INDEX, the better the oral health care, the lower the hydrogen sulfide and dimethyl sulfide components, it was confirmed that oral health education had a positive effect on oral care. In order to improve oral care knowledge and ability, major-specific oral health education programs should be provided. In addition, it is necessary to conduct extensive research on the cause of bad breath and oral health relatedness among general students as well as dental hygiene students.
