국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 중환자실 감염에 대한 뉴스보도를 분석하여 담론의 언어적 의미와 생산방식, 사회적실천의 함의를 도출하는데 있다. 이를 위해 페어클로(Fairclough)의 비판적 담론분석의 틀을 적용하여 담론을 분석하였다. 분석대상은 G포털사이트의 중환자실 감염에 대한 뉴스기사이며, 분석 기간은 2018년 1월 1일부터 12월 31일까지 1년간이다. 연구결과, 첫째, 중환자실 감염 뉴스담론의 표면적 의미는 중환자실 감염문제의 심각성과 열악한 근무환경, 현실과 괴리된 감염관리 정책 등을 통해 이데올로기적 성향으로 나타났다. 둘째, 중환자실 감염 뉴스담론의 사회적 의미는 감염관리 문제의 구조적인 원인과 현실에 맞는 정부 정책의 필요성, 감염관리 실천 방안 마련 등 현실적 시각으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 중환자실 감염 뉴스담론의 사회문화적 실천적 함의는 체계적이고 현실에 맞는 감염관리 매뉴얼 개발 및 실효성 있는 정부의 정책적 지원, 의료인 스스로의 인식변화를 제안하였다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 향후 중환자실 감염에 대한 실제 정책과 현장에서의 실천 사이에 나타나는 간격을 줄여 나가는 대안적 방향성 모색에 도움이 되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyse news reports on ICU infection to derive the linguistic meaning, production style and implications of social practice of discourse. To this end, the discourse was analyzed by applying the framework of Fareclough s critical discourse analysis. Subject of analysis is news articles on ICU infections on G portal sites, and the analysis period is one year from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2018. The research results showed that first, the surface meaning of ICU infection news discourse was ideologically inclined through the seriousness of the ICU infection problem, poor working conditions, and infection control policies that are separated from reality. Second, the social implications of the ICU infection news discourse appeared from a realistic perspective, such as the structural cause of infection control problems, the need for government policies that fit the reality, and measures to implement infection control. Finally, the social and cultural implications of the ICU infectious news discourse were proposed to develop a systematic and realistic infection control manual, to provide effective government policy support, and to change the health care person s own perception. The results of this study are expected to help explore alternative directions to reduce the gap between actual policies for future ICU infections and on-site practices
