국문 초록

목적 본 논문은 노인차별 문제를 해소해야 한다는 주장에서 출발하였다. 선행연구에서는 노인차별을 독립변수로 사용하였으나, 본 연구에서는 노인차별에 영향을 미치는 변수를 검증하여 노인차별 문제에 대해 근본적으로 접근하고자 한다. 본 연구는 디지털 리터러시와 인지기능이 노인차별에 미치는 영향력을 검증하는 데에 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위해 2020 노인실태조사 자료를 이용하였다. 분석 방법으로 노인차별에 대하여 디지털 리터러시와 인지기능이 미치는 영향력에 대해 통제변수로 주거환경만족, 정보이용, 여가활동, 사회적 지지를 선택하여 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결과 본 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 통제변수인 주거환경만족, 정보이용, 여가활동, 사회적 지지는 모두 노인차별에 대해 유의한 영향력을 나타냈다. 둘째, 디지털 리터러시와 인지기능이 높아질수록 노인차별이 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 노인의 차별문제를 해소하고 노인이 현대사회의 구성원으로서 통합되기 위해서는 일상생활 속에서 실제로 체험할 수 있는 디지털 교육 과정을 개발할 필요성을 역설하였으며, 인지기능 향상을 위한 신체활동 교육과 의학적 중재를 확대할 것을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This paper started from the argument that the problem of ageism must be resolved. Previous studies used ageism as an independent variable, but this study seeks to fundamentally approach the issue of ageism by verifying the variables that affect ageism. The purpose of this study is to verify the influence of digital literacy and cognitive function on ageism. Methods For this purpose, data from the 2020 Survey on Senior Citizens were used. As an analysis method, a hierarchical regression analysis was conducted on the influence of digital literacy and cognitive function on ageism, selecting residential satisfaction, use of information, leisure activities, and social support as control variables. Results The The main results of this study are as follows. First, the control variables of residential satisfaction, information use, leisure activities, and social support all showed significant influence on ageism. Second, it was found that as digital literacy and cognitive function increase, ageism decreases. Conclusions Based on these results, a plan was proposed to resolve the problem of discrimination against the elderly and to integrate the elderly as members of modern society. The need to develop digital education courses that can be actually experienced in daily life was emphasized, and it was proposed to expand physical activity education and medical intervention to improve cognitive function.
