K-MOOC 운영에 관한 대학 교원 인식 실태 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 K-MOOC 운영 활성화를 위한 방향 탐색을 목적으로 K-MOOC 운영에 관한 S대학교의 교원 인식 실태를 분석하 는 것을 목적으로 한다. 방법 이를 위하여 S대학교 내 재직 중인 교원들을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였으며, 설문 응답 데이터를 토대로 하여 기초적인 빈도 분석 및 기술통계를 실시하였다. 특히, K-MOOC 운영 활성화 방안에 관한 중요도 및 실행도에 관한 인식을 세부적으로 살펴보 기 위한 목적으로, Borich 요구도 분석에 따른 The Locus for Focus 모델을 활용하여 설문조사 결과를 분석하였다. 결과 첫째, K-MOOC는 인지⋅홍보⋅접근성 수준 측면에서 해외원격플랫폼보다는 전반적인 인식 수준은 높으나, 국내원격플랫 폼에 관한 인식 수준보다는 상대적으로 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 특히, K-MOOC 플랫폼 홍보에 관한 인식 수준은 상대적으로 낮은 인식 수준을 보였다. 둘째, K-MOOC 강좌 개발 필요성에 대해서는 기본적으로 동의하는 비중이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 강좌 개 발을 경험한 교원은 적으나, 참여 의향은 높은 편으로 나타났다. 셋째, K-MOOC 운영 활성화 방안의 중요도에 대해서는 전반적으 로 높은 인식을 보이지만, 실행도에 대해서는 전반적으로 낮은 인식을 보였다. 특히, K-MOOC 운영의 활성화를 위해서는 저작권에 관련된 문제 해결이 가장 시급한 것으로 나타났다. 결론 K-MOOC 운영이 활성화되기 위해서는 K-MOOC 강좌 개발의 주체인 대학교원의 참여가 전제되어야 한다. 이를 위해서는, 1) K-MOOC 운영 활성화를 위한 홍보 수단의 다각화를 적극적으로 고려할 필요가 있고, 2) K-MOOC 강좌 개발 참여가 활성화될 수 있도록 대학교원에 대한 인적⋅물적⋅행정적 지원이 필수적으로 이루어져야 하며, 3) K-MOOC 운영에 있어 저작권 문제에 관한 정부 혹은 대학 차원의 대책 마련이 우선적으로 이루어져야 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to analyze the professor’s Perception at S University regarding K-MOOC operation for revitalizing K-MOOC operation. Methods A survey was conducted on professors working at S University, and basic frequency analysis, technical statistics and The Locus for Focus model according to Borich demand analysis were conducted. Results First, K-MOOC has a higher overall level of awareness than overseas platforms, but is relatively lower than the level of awareness of domestic platforms. In particular, the level of awareness of the promotion of the K-MOOC platform showed a relatively low level of awareness. Second, it was found that there was a high proportion of basic agreement on the need to develop K-MOOC courses, and few professors experienced course development, but the willingness to participate was high. Third, there was a high overall perceptions of the importance of the K-MOOC operation revitalization, but a low overall perception of implementation. In particular, it was found that solving copyright-related problems was the most urgent to revitalize the K-MOOC operation. Conclusions It is necessary to actively consider 1) diversification of promotional means to revitalize K-MOOC operation, 2) human, material, and administrative support for professor should be provided so that participation in K-MOOC course development can be activated, and 3) in the operation of K-MOOC, counterplan at the government or university level regarding copyright issues should be prepared first.
