대학생의 다전공 인식과 개선 및 요구사항 분석을 통한 향후 운영 방안 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 다전공 인식과 개선 및 요구사항 분석을 통해 향후 안정적인 다전공 교육과정 운영 방안을 제시하고자 함에 목적이 있다. 방법 연구대상은 서울 소재지 다전공 제도를 운영하고 있는 A대학교 재학생 1,218명이며 SPSS 23.0 프로그램으로 차이검증을 실하였고, 개방형 질문에 응답한 232명을 대상으로 구글코랩을 기반으로 KoNLPy을 활용한 형태소 분석 과정을 거친 후 빈도분석 및 워드클라우드를 수행하였다. 결과 주요결과를 보면, 첫째, 다전공 인식과 다전공 유형 구분 정도의 차이검증 결과, 여자가 남자보다 높았고, 1학년에 비해 2학년, 3학년, 4학년과 2학년에 비해 3학년과 4학년이 높게 나타났다. 단과대의 경우, 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났으나 Scheffé의 사후검증 결과 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 선호하는 다전공의 차이검증 결과, 여학생은 복수전공, 남학생 은 부전공과 융합전공의 비율이 높게 나타났다. 학년은 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 인문대학은 복수전공, 공과대 학과 IT대학은 부전공, IT대학은 융합전공을 선호하는 비율이 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 다전공 개선사항의 차이검증 결과 여학생은 ‘학 과별 선발 인원 조정’과 ‘과목별 분반 편성 확대’, ‘학과별 특별활동 참여 기회’의 의견이 높았고, 남학생은 ‘학습지원(교수, 멘토링, 조교)강화’의 비율이 높게 나타났다. 1학년은 2학년, 3학년, 4학년에 비해 ‘학과별 선발 인원 조정’과 ‘과목별 분반 편성 확대’, ‘학습지 원(교수, 멘토링, 조교)강화’, ‘학과별 특별활동 참여 기회’의 비율이 높게 나타났다. 인문대학은 ‘학과별 선발 인원 조정’, IT대학은 ‘과목별 분반 편성 확대’와 ‘학습지원(교수, 멘토링, 조교) 강화’, 공과대학은 ‘학과별 특별활동 참여 기회’의 개선사항 비율이 높게 나 타났다. 넷째, 다전공 운영을 위한 요구사항의 형태소 분석 결과, 1순위 ‘전공’, 2순위 ‘학생’, 3순위 ‘학점’, 4순위 ‘과목’, 5순위 ‘평균’ 등의 순위로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구결과는 다전공 교육과정의 방향성을 정립하는데 기초자료를 제공한다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 또한, 본 연구결과를 바탕 으로 재학생의 특성을 고려한 다전공 맞춤형 운영을 위한 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to present future strategies for the stable operation of a multi-major curriculum through the analysis of perceptions, improvements, and requirements related to multi-major. Methods The subjects of the study were 1,218 students at A University, which has a multi-major system in Seoul, and the difference was verified with the SPSS 23.0 program. For 232 people who responded to open questions, morphology analysis was conducted using KoNLPy based on Google Colab and then frequency analysis and Wordcloud were conducted. Results The main results are as follows. First, as a result of verifying the difference between multi-major perception and multi-major type classification, women were higher than men, and second, third and fourth graders were higher than first graders, and third and fourth graders were higher then second graders. In the case of the college, there was a statistically significant difference, but there was no statistically significant difference as a result of Scheffé's post-test. Second, as a result of verifying the difference between the preferred multi-majors, female students prefer double majors and male students prefer minor and convergence majors. There was no statistically significant difference in grades. College of humanities preferred double majors, engineering and IT colleges preferred minor majors, and IT preferred convergence majors. Third, as a result of verifying the difference in multi- major improvements, female students had high opinions on adjustment of the number of selected people by department,expansion of division by subject, and opportunity to participate in special activities by department., and male students had high opinions on ‘strengthening academic support(professors, mentoring, teaching assistants). Compared to second, third, and fourth graders, first graders had a higher rate of adjustment of the number of selected students by department,expansion of division by subject, strengthening academic support(professors, mentoring, teaching assistants), and opportunity to participate in special activities by department. College of humanities had a high ratio of improvements in adjustment of the number of selected people by department, IT college expansion of division by subject, strengthening academic support(professors, mentoring, teaching assistants)., college of engineering opportunity to participate in special activities by department. Fourth, as a result of the morphology analysis of the requirements for multi-major operation, it was ranked first major, second student, third credit, fourth subject, and fifth average. Conclusions The results of this study are meaningful in that it provides basic data for establishing the direction of the multi-major curriculum. In addition, based on the results of this study, I would like to propose a way for multi- major customized operation in consideration of the characteristics of students.
