COVID-19 팬데믹 상황에서의 간호대학생 임상 실습 경험

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 코로나19 팬데믹 상황에서 실시된 간호대학생의 임상 실습 경험에 대한 의미를 심층적으로 이해하고 분석하 여 감염병 상황에서의 임상 실습 방법 및 개선 지침을 제공하고자 시도되었다. 방법 연구 방법은 코로나19 상황에서 진행된 임상 실습 경험에 대한 의미를 끌어내기 위한 질적 연구이다. 연구 참여자는 연구에 동의한 M시 소재 일개 대학 간호학과 4학년 학생 16명이다. 연구 전 모두 연구에 대한 사전 동의서를 받았다. 참여자 모집은 눈덩이 표출법을 이용하였고, 자료 수집은 반구조화된 질문지를 이용하여 1:1 면담을 통하여 실시되었다. 자료 분석은 현상학적 방법인 Colaizzi 방법으로 분석하였다. 결과 연구 결과 10개의 주제에서 도출된 주제 모음은 ‘건너뛸 수 없는 필수코스’, ‘온전히 이루어지지 못한 배움’, ‘방역으로 완전무장 된 현장’, ‘후회 없는 나의 진로’의 4개로 나타났다. 온라인실습에서 경험하지 못한 것을 직접 보고 수행하면서 임상 실습의 필요성을 인식하였으며, 코로나19로 인한 실습환경의 제한에 따른 안타까움, 실습기관의 철저한 방역체계 속에서 스스로 감염 지침을 준수하 기 위해 노력하였다. 또한 코로나19 확진자를 돌보고 있는 간호사의 모습을 통하여 간호사라는 직업의 의미를 되새기고, 자신이 선 택한 간호사의 길을 가겠다는 인식을 가진 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구를 바탕으로 감염병 확산 속에서 임상 실습 제도 개선 및 다양한 실습 방법을 개발하고 실습기관에서의 실습지도 방법에 관한 지속적 연구가 필요할 것이다. 또한 감염병 상황 속에서 간호대학생들이 경험한 불안과 스트레스 해소를 위한 대처방안이 마련 되어야 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to provide clinical practice methods and improvement guidelines by in-depth understanding and analysis of the meaning of clinical practice experiences of nursing students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods The research method is a qualitative research to derive the meaning of the clinical practice experience in the COVID-19 pandemic. The participants in the study were 16 nursing students from a college located in M city who agreed to the study. All informed consent was obtained before the study, and subjects were recruited using the snowball method through participants. Data collection was conducted through 1:1 interviews using a semi-structured questionnaire. Data was analyzed using the Colaizzi method, a phenomenological method. Results As a result of the study, 4 subject groups were derived from 10 subjects. The four thematic collections are , , , and . The need for clinical practice was recognized while directly seeing and performing what had not been experienced in online practice. In addition, due to COVID-19, they experienced regret due to the restrictions of the practice environment, and made efforts to prevent infection themselves in the thorough quarantine system of the practice institution. Through the appearance of nurses taking care of infected patients infected with COVID-19, it was found that they had an awareness of the meaning of the job of nurses and that they would go the path of nurses. Conclusions Based on this study, it will be necessary to improve the clinical practice system and develop various practice methods in the context of infection, and to continue research on practice education methods. In addition, a coping plan should be prepared to relieve anxiety and stress of nursing students in the situation of infection.
