통합놀이터 국내 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 장애인과 비장애인 및 남녀노소 모두 사용 가능한 ‘통합놀이터’에 대한 국내의 연구 동향을 분석하는 것이다. 방법 연구방법은 문헌연구로 KCI에 등재된 논문을 대상으로 내용분석을 실시하였다. 분석대상은 ‘통합놀이터’로 검색하여 총 10편 이 확인되었고, 학술논문, 발표논문, 학위논문 구분 없이 분석의 대상으로 선정하였다. 분석은 년도와 발행기관 및 연구방법과 주제 를 기준으로 하였다. 결과 분석결과 통합놀이터에 대한 연구는 통합놀이터가 처음 조성된 시기 이전인 2015년에 1편을 시작으로, 2016년 이후 2017년 부터 2019년까지 매년 2-3편의 연구가 진행되었다. 이후 2020과 2021년의 논문은 나타나지 않고 있으며, 이는 Covid-19의 영 향으로 추측된다. 이후 2022년 다시 1편의 연구가 보여진다. 발행형태는 학술논문 6편, 발표논문 2편, 학위논문 2편으로 확인되었 다. 2015년부터 현재까지 약 8년 동안 총 10편의 연구가 진행되어 통합놀이터에 대한 연구가 미진한 것으로 나타났다. 학술지 분류 에 따르면 디자인 분야가 5편, 조경 분야가 2편, 주거 분야가 1편, 학위논문이 2편으로 확인되었다. 연구방법은 문헌연구, 질적연구, 사례연구가 각 2편씩, 조사연구가 4편이루어졌으며, 주로 통합놀이터의 기구와 환겨을 다룬 것으로 확인되었다. 사례연구 중 실제 통합놀이터 조성과정을 다룬 연구가 1편, 실내통합놀이터의 설계과정을 다룬 연구가 1편으로 보여졌다. 연구주제는 디자인과 설계 및 구성에 대한 환경적 측면을 다룬 것이 9편, 기타연구가 1편으로 나타났다. 발행기관과 연구주제를 분석한 결과를 볼 때, 디자인과 설계 및 구성 등 환경을 중심으로 한 하드웨어를 분석하거나 제안하는 연구가 가장 많이 진행되었다. 결론 국내의 ‘통합놀이터’ 연구를 분석한 결과를 바탕으로 다음의 시사점을 제시한다. 현재까지 디자인과 설계 중심의 연구가 가장 많이 이루어졌으며, 이후 사용자 중심의 현장연구와 다양한 주제의 연구가 이루어져야 한다. 연구 제목에서 무장애와 통합놀이터가 함께 사용됨에 따라 통합놀이터에 대한 개념의 재정립이 요구된다. 또한, 이미 조성된 통합놀이터가 보행장애와 시각장애 위주로 설계되어 다양한 장애를 수용하지 못하는 것으로 나타나, 사례를 분석한 연구가 실제 향후 통합놀이터의 조성에 가이드-라인을 제공 할 수 있기를 기대한다. 무엇보다 통합놀이터 조성에 가장 큰 걸림돌로 작용하는 것이 법 제도와 관련한 것으로 나타나, 관련 법률의 제도적 개선과 방향성을 제시하는 연구가 이루어져야 한다. 현재 통합놀이터가 확대되어야 한다는 사회적 합의가 있음에도 불구하 고 이에 대한 연구가 미진한 것으로 나타나 다양한 관점과 주제를 다루는 연구가 활성화되어야 할 것이다. 특히, 통합놀이터가 장애 인보다 비장애인의 이용률이 높고 통합놀이터에 대한 일반인의 인식이 낮은 것으로 조사되어, 통합놀이터에 대한 인식의 확산도 필 요하다. 마지막으로 저출산 초고령사회에 대비하여 통합놀이터를 장애와 비장애인의 통합뿐만 아니라 남녀노소가 모두 함께하는 ‘통합놀이터’로의 확장 및 활용에 대한 대응방안이 요구된다. 이 연구는 향후 양적/질적 성장을 이뤄야 하는 통합놀이터의 조성과 연구에 대한 방향성과 시사점을 제시하였다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study is to analyze the research trend in Korea on ‘inclusive playground’ that can be used by both disabled and non-disabled people and men and women of all ages. Methods As a research method, a content analysis was conducted on papers registered in KCI and RISS as a literature study. The subject of analysis was searched for ‘inclusive playground’, and a total of 10 articles were identified, and they were analyzed without distinction between academic thesis, presentation thesis, and dissertation. The analysis was based on year, issuing institution, research method and subject. Results As a result of the analysis of results, the study on the inclusive playground started with one in 2015, before the integrated playground was first created, and 2-3 studies were conducted every year from 2017 to 2019 after the integrated playground was created in 2016. Since then, papers from 2020-2021 have not appeared, presumably due to the impact of Covid-19. After that, another study will be shown in 2022. As for the type of publication, it was confirmed that there were 6 academic articles, 2 presentation articles, and 2 other articles. A total of 10 studies have been conducted for about 8 years from 2015 to the present, indicating that research on inclusive playgrounds is insufficient. According to the classification of academic journals, there are 5 designs, 2 landscapes, 1 housing society, and 2 master’s theses. The research method consisted of two each of literature research, qualitative research, and case study, and four research studies. It was confirmed that it mainly dealt with the equipment and environment of integrated playgrounds. Among the case studies, one study dealt with the actual inclusive playground creation process and the other dealt with the design process of an indoor inclusive playground. As for the research topic, 9 studies dealt with the environmental aspects of design and design and composition, and 1 other study appeared. Looking at the results of analyzing the issuing organization and research topics, most of the studies that analyzed or proposed hardware centered on the environment such as design, design, and composition were conducted.
