의과대학 학생의 학업 스트레스와 학업 지연 행동 간의 관계

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 의과대학 학생들의 학업 스트레스, 인정 욕구, 학업 지연 행동 간의 관계를 살펴보고, 학업 스트레스에서 학업지연 행동으로 가는 경로에 있어 인정 욕구의 매개 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 방법 이를 위하여 서울 소재 의과대학생 156명을 모집하여 설문을 실시 하였다. SPSS 29.0과 PROCESS macro v4.2를 활용하여 중다회귀분석으로 매개효과를 검증하였으며, 매개효과의 유의성을 확인하기 위해 부트스트래핑 검증을 실시하였다. 결과 연구 결과, 학업 스트레스는 인정 욕구와 학업 지연 행동과 정적 상관을 나타냈고, 인정욕구는 학업 지연 행동과 정적 상관을 나타냈다. 또한 인정 욕구는 의과대학 학업 스트레스와 학업 지연 행동 간의 관계를 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 의과대학생의 학업 스트레스가 높을수록, 학업 지연 행동에 영향을 주고, 인정욕구는 부분매개로서 학업 지연 행동을 높일 수 있어, 이러한 결과는 의과대학 학생들의 학업 지연 행동의 예방적 학습 상담의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes of this study were to investigate the effect of academic stress on academic procrastination of medical school students and to verify the mediating effect of approval motivation. Methods All the results and data obtained from this research were gained from conducting surverys on 156 students from 1 medical school which was located in Seoul. Mediating effect was verified through multiple regression analysis using SPSS 29.0 and Process macro v4.2. And also, the significance of indirect effect was verified through bootstrapping test. Results The results of this study are as follows. Academic stress showed positive relationship with approval motivation and academic procrastination. And also, approval motivation showed positive relationship with academic procrastination. Mediating effect of approval motivation for the effect of academic stress on academic procrastination showed partial mediating effect. Conclusions As a result, it was verified that higher academic stress makes effect on academic procrastination of medical school students, approval motivation can play a role in the alteration of academic procrastination as a partial mediator, and can serve as initial data of preventive and counseling intervention.
