메디컬 드라마 시청 관여도는 시청자 생사관과 장기기증 의도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 커뮤니케이션 관점에서 시청 관여도를 선행변인으로 삼으며, 인지부조화 이론을 이용하여 메디컬 드라마(medical drama)가 개인의 생사관과 장기기증 의도에 미치는 영향을 탐구하고자 한다. 구체적으로 본 연구는 『슬기로운 의사생활』시즌2를 본 적이 있는 시청자를 연구대상으로 설문지 조사를 진행하였다. 데이터 분석을 위해서 헤이스(Hayes)의 프로시스 매크로 모델4를 이용하여 간접효과를 검증하는 다변인 회귀분석을 진행하였다. 연구결과, 정서적 시청 관여도와 개인 생사관, 장기기증 의도의 영향관계에서 인지부조화 감소행동의 완전 매개효과를 보여주며, 인지적 시청 관여도와 개인 생사관, 장기기증 의도의 영향관계에서 인지부조화 감소행동의 부분 매개효과는 유의하게 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 대중의 건강 행동 인지를 촉진하는 데 시청 관여도와 인지부조화의 역할을 명확할 수 있다. 한편 메디컬 드라마는 향후 사회 전반의 장기기증 분위기 형성에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것으로 검증하였다.

영문 초록

This study uses viewing involvement as a leading variable from the perspective of communication, and attempts to explore the effect of medical dramas on individual life and death and organ donation intention using cognitive dissonance theory. Specifically, this study conducted a questionnaire survey on viewers who have watched Season 2 of “Hospital Playlist.” For data analysis, a multivariable regression analysis was conducted to verify the indirect effect using Hayes' Proxis Macro Model 4. As a result of the study, it showed the complete mediating effect of cognitive dissonance reduction behavior in the influence of emotional viewing involvement, personal view, and organ donation intention, and the partial mediating effect of cognitive dissonance reduction behavior in the influence of cognitive viewing involvement, personal view, and organ donation intention was significant. Through this study, it is possible to clarify the role of viewing involvement and cognitive dissonance in promoting public health behavior awareness. Meanwhile, it was verified that medical dramas will have a positive effect on the formation of an organ donation atmosphere in society as a whole in the future.
