국문 초록

본 연구는 대학의 교양교육의 주관기관에서 운영하는 교양수학에 대한 비교과 프로그램의 유형에 따른 운영 현황을 비교·분석하여 교양수학 비교과 교육과정의 운영방향성을 제고해 보는데 목적이 있다. 대학 내 기초 수학 센터를 마련하여 이공계열 뿐 아니라 전 계열의 학생들을 위한 수학 교육 지원과 관리가 필요하다. 이와 관련하여 수학 관련 비교과 프로그램을 담당하는 전문 교수자를 배치하여 지원하고 운영할 필요가 있다. 또한, 비교과 프로그램에 대한 개념과 그 역할의 중요성을 학생들에게 인식시키기 위해 적극적인 홍보 체계가 필요하다. 이 연구는 대학의 교양 수학과 관련된 비교과 프로그램을 개발함에 있어 자료를 제공하고, 대학에서의 교양 수학 비교과 프로그램의 개선에 대한 방향을 제시할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to improve how basic general mathematics extracurricular programs should be managed based on liberal arts education curriculum by comparing and analyzing the operation status according to the types of the liberal arts extracurricular programs operated by the university’s liberal arts education institution. It is necessary to establish a basic mathematics center inside the university to support and manage mathematics education for students of all disciplines. In this regard, professional professors in charge of mathematics extracurricular programs should be assigned, supported, and operated. In addition, to make students aware of the concept of the extracurricular program and the importance of its role, an active public relations system is required. This study will provide data in developing extracurricular programs related to the basic general mathematics and suggest directions for improvement of the basic general mathematics extracurricular programs.
