국문 초록

족보는 일정한 형식을 갖추고 있으며, 그 형식에 따라 다양한 정보가 기록되어 있다. 기록되어 있는 정보를 안정적으로 확보할 수 있다는 것 또한 이 분야의 연구 가능성을 열어준다. 그러나 족보가 보존되는 상황이, 주로 개인에 의존하며 그 기록의 신뢰성 확보가 명확하지 않기 때문에, 족보 정보를 디지털인문학의 연구 대상으로 삼는 데는 한계가 있을 수밖에 없는 실정이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 공공기관과 개별 문중을 중심으로 족보 자료를 데이터베이스화하고 디지털인문학의 대상으로 발전시키려는 움직임은 꾸준히 진행되었다. 족보에 담긴 정보는 인문학적으로 귀중한 가치를 지닌다. 산재하는 족보 자료가 다양한 만큼 이를 아우를 수 있는 주체가 필요하며, 자료들이 업데이트될 수 있도록 위키 방식을 활용하는 것도 하나의 대안이 될 수 있다.

영문 초록

Genealogy has a certain format, and various information is recorded according to the format. Being able to reliably secure recorded information also opens up research possibilities in this field. However, since the circumstances in which genealogy is preserved depend mainly on the individual, and securing the reliability of the record is not clear, there are limitations in making genealogy information a research subject in digital humanities. Nevertheless, the movement to develop a database of genealogy data centered on public institutions and individual clans and develop it as a subject of digital humanities has been steadily progressing. The information contained in genealogy has valuable humanistic value. As the scattered genealogy data is diverse, an entity that can embrace it is needed, and using the wiki method to update the data can be an alternative.
