국문 초록

본 연구는 초심상담자의 신경증과 심리적 소진 간 관계에서 직무스트레스와 직무열의의 이중매개효과를 검증하고자 수행되었다. 초심상담자 총 267명을 대상으로 구조방정식 모형을 통해 분석한 결과 첫째, 초심상담자의 신경증은 직무스트레스, 심리적 소진 및 직무열의에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 직무스트레스는 직무열의와 심리적 소진에, 직무열의는 심리적 소진에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 매개효과를 확인한 결과 신경증과 심리적 소진 간 관계에서 직무스트레스와 직무열의의 단일 매개효과, 직무스트레스와 직무열의의 순차적 매개효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 심리적 소진을 경험하는 초심상담자에 대한 개입 방안으로 스트레스 대처 또는 직무열의 향상 방법을 제시하였다는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to the dual mediating effect of job stress and job engagement in the relationship between neuroticism and psychological burnout of novice counselors. For this purpose, the results of applying structural equation model based on data collected from a total of 267 novice counselors are as follows. First, it was found that neuroticism had a significant effect on job stress, psychological burnout, and job engagement. In addition, it was found that job stress had a significant effect on job engagement and psychological burnout, and job engagement had a significant effect on psychological burnout. Second, as a result of confirming the mediating effect, the single mediating effect of job stress and job engagement and the sequential mediating effect of job stress and job engagement were found to be significant in the relationship between neuroticism and psychological burnout. The significance of this study is that it suggests ways to cope with stress or improve job engagement as an intervention plan for novice counselors experiencing psychological burnout.
