중국 Z세대의 웹소설에 대한 만족이 심리적 안정감에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

최근 중국에서 웹소설이 시장 규모와 구독자 수가 증가하고 있는 가운데, 주로 Z세대를 중심으로 성장세가 두드러지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 기대가치이론을 적용하여 웹소설을 이용하는 중국 Z세대 이용자들의 추구충족과 획득충족이 심리적 안정감에 미치는 관계를 실증적으로 규명하고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 중국 웹소설 이용동기 중 특히 오락성, 사회성, 사용 용이성, 품질 우수성의 4개 요인에 대한 기대가 높을수록 이용 후 충족이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 전반적으로 추구충족이 획득충족보다 더 큰 평균값을 보인 가운데, 중국 Z세대들은 웹소설 콘텐츠의 오락성, 사용 용이성, 다양성, 품질 우수성에 대한 획득충족이 높아지면 심리적 안정감이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 오락 요인이 심리적 안정감에 가장 큰 영향력을 미쳤는데 이는 중국 Z세대들이 재미와 대리만족, 평범한 일상을 달래주는 유희 등을 위해 웹소설을 읽으며, 이를 통해 심리적 안정감을 얻는다고 해석할 수 있다.

영문 초록

Recently, with the market size and number of subscribers of Web Novels increasing in China, the growth trend is remarkable, mainly centered on Generation Z. Therefore, we applied Expectancy -Value Theory to empirically identify the relationship between seeking satisfaction and acquisition satisfaction of Chinese generation Z users who use Web Novels on their psychological stability. As a result, we found that the higher the expectation for the four factors of entertainment, sociality, quality excellence, and ease of use, the higher the correlation with satisfaction after use. In addition, while the results showed that overall satisfaction in pursuit showed a larger average value than satisfaction in acquisition, it was found that the psychological stability of Chinese generation Z increased when the acquisition satisfaction for entertainment, ease of use, variety, and quality excellence of Web Novel contents increased. In particular, the entertainment factor had the greatest influence on psychological stability, and it can be interpreted that Chinese generation Z read Web Novels for fun, vicarious satisfaction, and amusement that soothes ordinary daily life, and through this, they gain psychological stability.
