기혼여성의 출산 및 출산포기에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구

국문 초록

저출산 문제가 부양비 부담 증가, 노동인구의 부족, 세대 간의 갈등 초래 등 많은 영역에서 사회문제를초래할 것으로 예측되는 가운데, 출산문제 해결을 위한 정책방안 모색과 출산관련 연구의 기초자료 제공을 목적으로 본 연구를 수행하였다. 출산계획이 있는 20세~49세 기혼여성을 대상으로 출산, 출산포기, 출산포기 미결정에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보기 위해 여성가족패널조사의 5차(2014년)~7차(2018 년) 데이터를 활용하였으며, 4년 동안의 실제 출산행동 여부를 분석하였다. 분석결과는 부부 간의 관계를 증진시킬 수 있는 상담이나 프로그램 지원 확대, 자녀의 양육 부담 경감을 위한 사회적 지원 확대, 연령의 증가에 따른 부정적 출산환경 문제의 해결 등이 필요하고, 출산 장려보다는 개인이 선택한 출산계획을 실행할 수 있도록 환경을 조성하는 정책적 접근이 필요함을 보여주고 있다.

영문 초록

The low-fertility problem is expected to cause social problems in many areas, such as an increase in the burden of support costs, a shortage of the labor force, and conflicts between generations. Thus, this study was conducted to find policy measures to solve the fertility problem and provide basic data for researches related to childbirth. The study used the data from the 5th (2014) survey to 7th (2018) of the Survey of Women & Families to examine the factors affecting childbirth, childbirth abandonment, and childbirth undecided in married women aged 20 to 49 with childbirth plans, and for that, analysed the actual childbirth behavior during the 4 years. As a result, the analysis results show that there should be the support for counseling or related programs to improve marital relationships, expansion for social support to release the burden of childcare, and resolution of negative fertility environment problems. In addition, there should be the policy supports to make the environment in order to practice the childbirth plan they selected rather than just childbirth encouragement.
