하브루타 활용수업과 토론수업의 교육효과 비교연구

국문 초록

이 논문에서는 C대학교 교양교과목 <사고와 표현1>을 수강하고 있는 학생들을 대상으로 하브루타 활용수업과 토론수업을 진행한 후 자기주도 역량, 창의 융합 역량, 배려 협업 역량의 향상도를 비교, 분석하였다. 두 수업방식은 모두 3C 핵심 역량을 함양하는 데 교육적 효과가 높은 것으로 나타났지만, 하브루타 활용수업이 토론수업에 비해 교육적 효과가 좀 더 높았다. 이러한 연구 결과는 하브루타가 토론에 비해 학생의 적극적인 수업 참여를 유도할 수 있다는 점, 학생간의 유대감 및 협동 의식을 향상시킨다는 점, 그리고 수업방식이 ‘생각하는 힘’을 길러 준다는 점에서비롯된 것으로 볼 수 있다. 그러나 하브루타 활용수업은 생소한 수업방식과 수업의 전 과정을 학생 스스로 설계하고, 진행하는 방식으로 인해 부담감과 거부감을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 하브루타 활용수업에 효과적인 학습자료와 다양한 수업 모형이 개발되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study conducted the debate class and class using Havruta targeting the students who were taking a general education course called in C university. In the results of comparing the improvement of self-directed competency, creative/convergent competency, and considerate/collaborative competency, the class using Havruta showed the higher educational effects than debate class. Such results of this study must be originated from the fact in which Havruta could induce students’ active participation in class more than debate; Havruta could improve the bond and consciousness of collaboration between students; and the Havruta teaching method develops ‘thinking power’. However, the class using Havruta caused pressure and resistance because of its unfamiliar teaching method in which the whole process should be designed and proceeded by students. In order to solve this, it would be necessary to develop various teaching models and effective learning materials for classes using Havruta.
