국문 초록

본 연구는 영화 ‘싱글라이더’를 통하여 가족 분거, 즉 기러기 가족이 관계를 유지하는 과정에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 기러기 가족의 대사, 비언어적 태도 및 행동 변화에 해당하는 영화 속 주요 장면을 텍스트화하여 매트릭스 방법으로 분석 및 ‘기러기 가족 위기 모형’에 적용하여 기러기 가족의 위기요인을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 기러기 부부간 친밀성의 부재, 성생활의 부재, 신뢰감의 부재는 부부관계위기에 영향을 미치고, 부의 부재로 인한 역할 상실은 부모-자녀 관계에 위기로 작용하였다. 또한 부부개인 관점으로 기러기아빠의 오랜 독거생활은 건강 관련 삶의 질을 하락시키는 문제를 가져왔고, 기러기엄마 또한 분거생활로 인한 역할 변화로 정체성의 혼란과 위기를 겪는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 가족분거자체가 가지는 불안정성 때문에 결국 파국적 결말을 맞는 비극적 가족해체로 전개될 수 있음을 시사하였다. 이 연구결과를 토대로 본 연구는 대중매체인 영화를 통하여 일반인에게 기러기 가족의 이해에 대한 보다 쉬운 접근방식을 제공함으로써 그들의 삶을 이해하고 그들의 일상에서 표출되는 문제를 파악하여 가족의 위기를 극복 또는 예방할 수 있는 향후 예방적 개입의 단서를 제공하기 위한 제언을 하였다.

영문 초록

This study attempted to explore the effects of family separation on the process of maintaining wild geese family relationships through the movie 'Single Rider'. This study collected significant data from the wild goose family in the film, such as their dialogue, nonverbal components, and major daily lives or events that cause behavioral changes. This data changed to texts were analyzed with a Matrix analysis by applying A Crisis Model of the Wild Geese Family Relationship. The results of analysis were these. Firstly, the lack or absence of intimacy, sex life, and trust between wild goose couples has had a dangerous effect on their relationship. Secondly, the loss of role due to the fathers’ absence brought a crisis to the relationship between fathers and children. Finally, from the perspective of each of the couples, wild goose fathers spend a long time living alone, which causes problems and reduces their health-related quality of life, and wild goose mothers also experienced identity confusion and crisis due to role changes caused by living separately. These results show that due to the instability of family separation itself, these wild geese families eventually raised possibilities of family disruptions or break-up's.
