북한배경 청소년 대상 진로상담 프로그램 설계를 위한 전문가집단 FGI 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 북한배경 청소년들에게 진로상담 프로그램을 제공하는 전문가들의 프로그램 실시 경험을 탐색하고향후 북한배경 청소년 대상 진로상담 프로그램 개발 및 운영의 방향성을 제시하기 위해 실시하였다. 이를 위해,전문가 6인을 대상으로 포커스 그룹 인터뷰(FGI)를 진행하였고, 참여자들의 동의 하에 반복적 비교분석을 통해 면담 자료를 질적 분석하였다. 연구결과 5개의 영역 하에 18개의 핵심내용이 도출되었다. 첫째, 북한배경 청소년의특성으로 자기 이해 및 직업정보 접근성 부족, 집단 내 다양한 북한배경, 교육문화적 맥락으로 인한 집단중심-과정중심 교육활동에서의 어려움이 도출되었다. 둘째, 북한배경 청소년 대상 진로 및 심리 서비스 프로그램의 운영과관련하여 북한배경의 다양화를 인지하고 집단의 목표와 성격에 맞는 특성을 지닌 집단으로 구성하고자 하는 노력이 필요하며, 학교장면 등에서 실제적으로 활용할 수 있는 남한 청소년을 포괄하는 통합적 프로그램의 개발이 제안되었다. 마지막으로, 북한배경 청소년 대상 진로상담 프로그램의 설계 및 운영 그리고 방향성과 관련하여 다양한 자극을 제공하고, 평가적 접근을 배제하고 참여자의 능동성을 강조하는 상향식 운영, 삶의 철학과 세계관 형성을 지원하는 내용이 포함되어야 한다는 의견이 제시되었다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to explore the experiences of experts who provide career counselingprograms to North Korean background youth and to suggest directions of developing and operatingcareer counseling programs for North Korean background youth in the future. To this end, focusgroup interviews (FGI) were conducted with six experts, and interview data were qualitativelyanalyzed through repeated comparative analysis with the consent of the participants. As a resultof the study, 18 core contents were derived under 5 areas. First, the characteristics of North Koreanbackground youths are a lack of self-understanding and access to occupational information, variousNorth Korean backgrounds within the group, and difficulties in group-centered-process-basededucational activities due to educational and cultural contexts. Second, regarding the operation ofcareer and psychological service programs for North Korean background youth, efforts to recognizethe diversification of the North Korean background and to form a group with characteristicssuitable for the group’s goals and characteristics were proposed. In addition, it is suggested todevelop an integrated program that encompasses South Korean youths that can be practicallyused in school scenes. Finally, it was suggested that the contents should be included in providingvarious stimuli should be provided in relation to the design, operation and directivity of careercounseling programs for North Korean background youth, the bottom-up operation that excludesthe evaluative approach and emphasizes the activeness of participants, and supports the philosophyof life and worldview formation.
