국문 초록

중국사강요 는 중국 대학에서 가장 널리 쓰이고 있는 역사교재다. 본서는 1960년대 처음 출간된 이후, 1994년과 2006년 두 차례에 걸쳐 수정과 보완이 이뤄졌다. 초판은 마르크스적 사회발전단계에 따라 집필되었고, 1994년 수정본도 이러한 관점에서 수정되었다. 한편 2006년 증정본은 기존의 유물사관을 기반으로 편집되었으나, 관련용어는 제한적으로만 사용되고 있고, 목차 또한 마르크스주의적 사회발전단계가 아닌 왕조를 기준으로 구성되어있다. 이는 시대의 변화에 따라 변화고 있는 교육현장의 요구에 발맞춘 것으로, 비교적 자연스러운 변화로 평가할수 있다. 그러나 현재 중국은 중고등학교 역사교과서를 국정화 하였고, 이른바 ‘마공정’과 ‘사사’공정 등의 명목으로 국가가 대학교 역사교재를 편찬하고 있다. 이는 국가가 교육현장의 변화를 통제하는 것으로 기존의 변화와 비교해 봤을 때 상대적으로 부자연스러운 변화라 평가할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The Essential History of China is the most widely used history textbook in Chinese highereducations. Since its first publication in the 1960s, it has been supplemented in 1994 and 2006. The first edition was organized according to the Marxist stage of social development, and the1994 edition was also revised from this point of view. Meanwhile, the 2006 edition was alsocompiled based on the historical materialism, however, terms related to the historical materialismwere used only in a limited way, and the table of contents was also composed based on thedynasty, not the Marxist stage of social development. This is in line with the demands of theeducational field that are changing with the trend of the times, and can be evaluated as aelatively natural change. However, China has decided to change middle and high school historytextbooks to unified textbooks, also compiling universty history textbooks in the name of “Marxisttheoretical research and construction projects”. This is the state’s control of changes in theeducational field, and can be evaluated as a relatively unnatural change compared to the existingchanges.
