예비유아교사의 긍정적 성격 유형과 자아정체감 간의 관계 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비유아교사의 긍정적 성격 유형과 자아정체감 간의 관계연구를 통해 향 후 교사-영유아 간 긍정적 상호작용을 위한 예비유아교사의 긍정적 성격 및 안정된 자아정체감의 중요성을 알아보기 위해 실시되었다. 연구대상으로는 인천, 경기 지역에 위치한 3개 대학 유아교육과 졸업반 401명이었으며, 설문조사한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 예비유아교사의 긍정적 성격 유형 중 안정성, 사회성, 책임성은 자아정체감의 하위요인 중 공통적으로 주체성, 친밀성과 정적 상관을 나타내었다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 긍정적 성격의 유형인 안정성, 사회성, 책임성, 사려성 모두 긍정성이 높은 상집단의 경우 자아정체감의 6개 하위요소에서 대부분 높은 점수를 나타내었다. 이와 같은 연구결과가 예비유아 교사들의 긍정적 성격 향상 및 안정적 자아정체감 형성의 중요성 인식 향상을 위해 심도 있는 교육과정의 개발을 위한 기초자료로 쓰여 지길 고대한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to find out the importance of positive character and stable self-identity among internal variables for the positive interactions between teachers and early childhood through studying the relationship between types of positive characters and self-identity for prospective early childhood teachers. The study targets were 401 graduating class students majoring in early childhood education at 3 colleges in Incheon and Gyeonggi area, and the results are as follows; Firstly, among types of positive characters of prospective early childhood teachers, stability, sociality, and responsibility had positive relationship with independence and intimacy. Secondly, for high group people who had high scores in all types of positive character of proospective early childhood teachers-stability, sociality, responsibility, consideredness, had high scores in all 6 subfactors of self-identity. It is expected that the result of this study can be a base material for developing deeper education curriculum by making them to perceive the importance of improving positive character and forming stable self-identity of prospective early childhood teachers.
