아동이 지각한 주양육자의 양육태도와 주관적 안녕감의 관계에서 감사의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 주양육자의 양육태도와 주관적 안녕감, 감사의 주양육자별 차이가 있는지 살펴보고 세변인의 상관관계와 함께 양육태도와 아동의 주관적 안녕감의 관계에서 감사의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이 연구는 2017년 9월 18일부터 2주 간에 걸쳐 충남 지역 4개 초등학교 18학급의 5, 6학년 학생 395명의 자료를 분석 대상으로 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS Ver. 20.0과 AMOS Ver. 20.0을 사용하여 구조방정식 모형을 분석하였고 Bootstrapping방식을 사용하여 매개효과를 검증하였 다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주양육자(부모 모두, 한부모, 조부모, 기타)에 따른 세 변인의 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 이는 주양육자가 누구인지의 차원이 아니라 주양육자가 아동을 대하는 태도가 더 중요함을 시사하는 것이다. 둘째, 양육 태도, 주관적 안녕감, 감사에서 모두 정적인 상관관계가 있었고 양육태도와 주관적 안녕감의 관계에서 감사의 부분매개효과가 나타났다. 아울러 본 연구의 결과가 지니는 함의 및 연구의 제한점을 논의하였다

영문 초록

This study aimed at examining whether there was any difference in parenting attitude, a child’ subjective well-being and gratitude by primary caregiver, thereby investigating the mediation effect of gratitude in the relation between parenting attitude and a child’ subjective well-being and the correlations among the three variables. This study analyzed the data which had been collected from 395 fifth and sixth graders in 18 classes of four elementary schools in Chungcheongnam-do for two weeks from September 18, 2017. As for the collected data, the structural equation model was analyzed using SPSS Ver. 20.0 and AMOS Ver. 20.0, and the mediation effect was verified using the bootstrapping method. The results of the study are as follows. First, no significant difference was detected in the three variables by primary caregiver (both parents, a single parent, grandparents and others). This suggests that what is more important is not who primary caregiver is but how primary caregiver treats a child. Second, parenting attitude, a child’ subjective well-being and gratitude were all positively correlated. And the partial mediation effect of gratitude was found on the relation between parenting attitude and a child’ subjective well-being. The implication and limitation of this study were discussed.
