다문화 효능감에 관한 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 다문화 효능감(multicultural efficacy)에 관련된 국내 전문 학술지에 수록된 문헌을 대상으로 연구 동향을 분석하는 데 그 목적이 있었다. 이를 위해 먼저 동향연구에 관한 선행 연구 분석을 토대로 분석 준거를 개발하였다. 주요 분석 영역은 발행처 및 연도, 연구 유형, 연구 방법이며, 각 영역별로 세부 분석지표를 설정하였다. 동향분석을 위해서 2007년도부터 2015년 12월 현재까지 국내 전문 학술지에 게재된 다문화 효능감과 관련된 논문 88편 중 연구목적에 부적절한 논문 21편을 제외하고 총 67편의 논문을 선정하여 분석하였다. 분석의 타당성을 제고하기 위해 논문을 코딩한 후 공동 연구자의 독립적 분석 결과를 토대로 평가자 간 신뢰도를 구하였는데 94.06%로 높았다. 연구결과, 첫째, 다문화 효능감 관련 논문은 최근 5년(2010-2015)간 지속적으로 증가하였으며, 유아교육분야의 논문이 가장 많은 부분을 차지하고 있었다(31.34%). 둘째, 연구유형은 1편의 질적 연구를 제외하고 모든 연구가 양적 연구였으며 다문화 효능감과의 인과관계 검증(49.25%)이 절반이었다. 셋째, 연구 방법에서 연구 대상자는 교사 및 예비교사의 연구가 79.49%를 차지하였고, 전체 분석 논문의 14.92%가 구체적으로 표집방법을 명시하였다. 신뢰도는 89.55%가 제시하였고 모두 Cronbach s α로 분석되었으며, 타당도는 37.31%만 제시하였다. 이상의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 후속 연구를 위한 제언이 다음과 같이 이루어졌다. 우리나라와 다른 다문화 선진 국가 간의 다문화 효능감 연구동향의 비교분석이 필요하고, 경험적 실증자료를 활용하여 지속적 메타분석이 이루어질 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose of this study is to analyze the research trends in literatures containing domestic professional journals related to multicultural efficacy(ME). For this purpose, we developed a criterion based on the previous research analysis on the trends research. The main analysis areas are: 1) Publisher and the year of literatures, 2) study type, research topics, and 3) research methods. Moreover, detailed indicators were set for each area. To analyze research trend, a total of 67 were selected for ME relevant papers intervening in domestic peer-reviewed journals from 2007 to December 2015. The selected papers are analyzed based on the analysis of the developed criteria. To obtain the cross-confidence, the independent evaluation process of the results were accomplished between each co-researchers. Confidence of the results was 94.06%. As the results, ME relevant papers has increased consistently over recent five years (2010-2015), publishers relating to the childhood education area are the highest as 31.34%. In study type, except for one qualitative research study, all studies were conducted using the quantitative method. More than 49.25% of study subjects was about the evaluation of causal relationship between ME. In research method, the research subjects related on teachers and/or pre-service teachers were over 79.49% and sampling method has been presented only 14.92% of the total. Confidence was 89.55%, and it had been stated by Cronbach s(ɑ). Validity had suggested only 37.31%. Implications for further study and practice were suggested based on these results, including necessity of comparative studies on ME, meta-analysis, and so on.
