국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 1학년 학생들의 학교적응과 수업참여의 관계에서 지각된 교사의 학급통제의 조절효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 서울 및 경기, 경남 지역의 초등학교 1학년 학생 297명(남 171명, 여 126명)을 연구대상으로 하여, 행동평정 척도, 교사의 학급통제, 수업참여를 측정하였다. 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 측정 변인의 일반적 경향을 알아보기 위해 상관분석을 실시하였고, 변인간의 관계를 알아보기 위해 단순회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 조절효과를 살펴보기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등 1학년의 학교적응은 수업참여와 유의미한 정적 상관이 있으며, 지각된 교사의 학급통제와 수업참여도 유의미한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 초등 1학년의 학교적응은 수업참여를 유의미하게 예측 하였다. 셋째, 지각된 교사의 학급통제도 초등 1학년의 수업참여를 유의미하게 예측하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 초등 1학년의 학교적응과 수업참여의 관계에서 지각된 교사의 학급통제가 조절변인으로써 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과를 통해 초등학교 1학년 학급의 교사를 대상으로 하는 상담 및 교사연수에서 학급통제를 통해 효과적으로 교실 관리를 할 수 있는 개입의 필요성을 제언하였다는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study was to examine the moderating effects of perceived teachers’ control in relationships between first grade students’ adoption and class participation. For this purpose, surveys were conducted by 297 first grade students(male, 171, female, 126) in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Gyeongnam Province with Behavior rating scale, Teachers’ degree of control, and Student participation indicator. Correlation analysis was performed to determine the general trend of the measured variables based on the collected data, simple regression analysis was performed to determine the relationship between variables, and hierarchical regression analysis was performed to examine the moderating effect. The results of this study are as follows. First, first grade students’ adoption and class participation were found to have significant positive correlation and perceived teachers’ control appeared to have significant positive correlation with class participation. Secondly, first grade students’ adoption significantly predicted class participation. Third, perceived teachers’ control significantly predicted class participation of first grade students. Fourth, perceived teachers’ control in relationships between first grade students’ adoption and class participation showed a moderating effect. Through this results, we discussed the need for intervention on the effective class management through teachers’ class control proved as a moderating variable in counseling and teacher training program for elementary school teachers.
